Great Staff

The room is very clean, breakfast is very good (they could have some authentic Portuguese pastry though), most importantly the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is not located in one of the cute neighborhoods of Lisbon but it is very close to public transportation and may even be walking distance to the central squares. It is a business trip hotel with character and comfort.

Modern hotel with comfortable rooms

Pros: Morning breakfast buffet (hot and cold options) with sufficient options.
Cons: Level of hotel room cleanliness varied on a day to day basis. Could be more consistent to ensure higher level of cleanliness
Location: Convenient location in Lisbon - close to metro stations and within reasonable walking distance to Baixa and other areas if you like to walk
Stayed at the hotel for approximately 2.5 weeks. The location was convenient, hotel rooms were comfortable and modern although not overly spacious. Breakfast buffet offered sufficient hot and cold options. Reception staff were helpful, courteous and polite. Overall experience was positive.

convenient hotel

the hotel staff are well trained and closed to good restaurants. however, the furniture is a bit old and the house keeping didn't clean the room well.

Good location, nice staff but room for improvement

Pros: Good location, close to metro stop Excellent restaurant nearby called ideal Friendly staff Clean rooms Lovely looking entrance. Especially at night
Cons: No complimentary drinks in the room No mini bar Not clear about How To order drinks or food in the room
Location: Close to anjos metro stop Famous Ramiro restaurant on same road Few nice eateries near hotel
Good location, around 200 metres from the anjos metro stop or 15 minute walk into central Lisbon. Hotel entrance very nice with clean modern aesthetic and nice candles to provide an inviting look. Friendly staff and clean rooms but there are a few changes the hotel could make to make the guest experience from an OK to outstanding. There were no complimentary drinks, water/tea/coffee etc in the room...surely this is a basic offering from a 4star hotel anywhere in the world? No clear indication on How To order drinks/ food in the room if desired. Breakfast was a mixed experience. Some Of The choices provided were nice but the cooked foods didn't maintain heat for long. Coffee was served from a thermos flask device which went lukewarm when I got a cup. Furthermore, there weren't place settings, cutlery etc at every table so I found myself having to grab these from adjacent tables..not what a guest should be doing first thing in the morning. Housekeeping did a good job but there were a couple of instances of soap bars not being replaced. Finally, I feel the hotel could have provided more information to me about it's services and Lisbon in general. Guests like to be informed from the start about what the hotel offers, when and how it offers these services as well as basic info about the town. The experience of staying at the czar felt a bit detached somehow and not fully there. If the hotel made these changes it would be a fantastic experience.

The good and the bad

Pros: Helpful staff Included breakfast
Cons: Very tired looking rooms
Location: Great restaurants 15 minutes to centre of city walking
Front desk staff we're extremely helpful and friendly Breakfast was terrific Location was good Rooms need an update looked over used No drawers just hang up space

Great hotel!

Luxurious hotel, beds are very comfortable and tv carries many channels in many languages. Toileteries are all lavender. Everything was excellent.

Some of the staff were arrogant, but some of the staff was very polite.. And went out of there way to call me a taxi for 7 people. Breakfast area is small and tight not easy for people to get around other people when getting food and coffee.
