Lovely

Pros: We couldn't fault the hotel - everything was lovely. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed everything. If you plan to use Lisbon's Metro - easy.
Cons: Nothing - everything was perfect.
Location: A 12Euro taxi ride from the airport. Not much to do nearby, but if you use the Metro, it is perfect, as so easy, with a fabulous, regular service.
Lovely, comfortable hotel right next to a Metro station. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom spotlessly clean and very spacious. Breakfast is fabulous. Short taxi trip to the airport. We had a lovely visit to Lisbon - thank you.

Nice and Clean

Excellent services and very nice staffing..... Good food, the tours of the city and historical places where very interesting. You can walk around with out fear because is no crime. Everything is so peaceful and quiet......very nice everything.......

Comfortable

The staff were very friendly and did a super job for us, very professional . Room was a decent size, clean updated, bathroom nice. it came with a lot of amenities. The only thing was the refrigerator in the room was only for the items they had for sale you could not fit even 1 bottle of our own water in it.That was no problem for us though. The view from our window was good. They had parking but was not included, that is normal for all of Lisbon center hotels, no problem the cost was still worth it. One other thing, we told them that we were going to check out at 5 am, due to our early flight. They went out of their way and had boxed breakfast ready for us to take along when we left the hotel at 5am. Just doing that for us was extra special ! Thank you very much

Pros: Excellent breakfast
Cons: It's actually on the flight path for planes landing at Lisbon airport so there may be some noise
Location: Location was good with the Metro stop located outside the hotel allowing us to explore all of Lisbon and near by places to eat and museum.
The room was comfortable clean and inviting with a small bar and enclosed outside area for those quiet moments

Comfortable hotel

Pros: The hotel included breakfast and parking.
Cons: The coffee was terrible and there were no complimentary ice machines.
We walked to the city gates from the hotel (approximately 45 minutes) but we could have used the metro.

Excellent service

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Acores, Lisboa largely because of Margarita at reception. She was repeatedly very helpful in directing us around Lisbon and always with a bright smile all the way from checkin to checkout. We had a room with a fine view on the eighth floor, spacious and clean with a firm bed. Our only reservation is that it was outside the city center but a metro stop was iust outside the hotel door.

Excellent Hotel, Great Location

Hotel is about 50m from a Metro entrance, just a few stops from the city center. Hotel staff was kind and friendly. They allowed us to check in early and held our luggage while we explored the city. They also had a safe for passports and money to use before check in seperate from the baggage room. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Don't stay at Hotel Acores Lisboa

I am so dissatisfied with Hotel Acores Lisboa. First impression: parking was hard to find. Rooms were so insanely tiny (170sq meters). My one year old was walking around the hotel bedroom barefoot and when I looked at his feet, they were black! The rooms and hallways were musty and dry. Blackout curtains don't work b/c light comes in from sides. No coffee maker in the bedroom. Just pay the extra money and reserve a better hotel!

Great Base for exploring

Pros: Excellent choice at breakfast; helpful staff without being instrusive; lovely atmostphere in hotel; parking was available; great location;
Cons: Perhaps some of the shrubbery that overhangs the balcony could be cut back a little
Location: Great locaation with easy access to the city centre. Metro station is located just outside the hotel
We found this a great hotel. Not in the centre of the city but with a Metro station just outside the hotel, really quick and easy to get into town and not expensive either. We only ate breafast in the hotel, but this was fantastic. Buffet style there was always plenty on offer and when things did run out they were replenished very quickly. Staff were attentive without being intrusive and we never felt rushed even when they were busy. Guilherme Pinto who dealt with us on reception was particularly helpful. One thing that might not be to everyones liking is the fact that it on the flightpath and approach to Lisbon airport, but this didn't bother us at all. We would stay there again if visiting Lisbon.
