pleaseant but expensivePosted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: Outside pool, peaceful, nice atmosphere, good staff
Cons: Food in restaurant, prices for extras, few more bus services to town- first one is 12noon
Location: A bit isolated, a good 1.5 hours walk to centre of Cascais. lovely area to cycle, beautiful beaches, very cheap to travel on public transp.
Whilst hotel was very reasonable and comfortable the extras were very expensive and even wifi was charged for!! Restaurant food not great, breakfast buffet lovely.

Looked for relaxing stayPosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: room was very comfortable and clean but food a big let down - particularly the dining room in the evening - and the shuttle bus ran only 2 times a day
Cons: food - definitely not up to standard and the shuttle bus service inflexible and only carried 8 people twice a day. no use to any of my party
Location: location very isolated - no shopping or other attractions nearby. long walk into town (Cascais) and no public transport so relied on taxis
Food definitely not four or five star standard. Breakfast was good and varied but the same food on offer every day, which was disappointing. Dining room in the evening served me a cold (as in freezing!) dinner when it should have been piping hot - very disappointing, and dangerous, as it was poultry and obviously straight out of the freezer. Overall the location (very isolated, no public transport) and the food and the fact that the shuttle bus was only available twice a day and only took 8 people at a time. No flexibility, and little use to us during the stay. Hotel info pack in room useless as there was just a list of services but no telephone numbers! So if you wanted to call reception or room service, you were pretty well out of luck! Definitely not 4 or 5 star standard, althoughthe golfers seemed to enjoy it, and the golf greens were pretty.

Beautiful grounds & locationPosted Sep 3, 2015
Pros: The grounds were amazing, staff were very helpful and the buffet style breakfast was lovely in particular the fresh fruit. Best enjoyed outside!
Cons: The breakfast atmosphere indoors was quite conference like with only tepid tasteless coffee and tea served unfortunately.
Location: A simply beautiful location, Gincho beach is amazing for wind & kite surfing. Frequent trains to Lisbon from Cascais.
A wonderful location for playing golf, if your aren't planning a golfing holiday, the hotel is perhaps not in easy reach of the local amenities so you'll need a car or bike to get around. The hotel itself is large and feels very open and spacious, the room where I stayed was large, had a balcony with views over trees and a small lake.

Nice hotel - shame about the servicePosted Sep 1, 2015
I like to write fair reviews so here are the positives: - the hotel is very well maintained. All of the public areas are clean and bright. - the location is nice and quiet (although not walking distance to town taxis are only 6 or 7 percent euros) and the pay off is a restful environment - being a golf resort the pool area was quiet during the day - no reserving of loungers and plenty of space - the pool itself is small but very clean and has a lovely view of the golf course - our room was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the golf course. It was cleaned every day as you would expect. On the negative side: - the customer service was very poor. Unfortunately, our luggage was damaged at the airport and so the end of our trip was quite stressful and we arrived at the hotel a lot later than expected. On arriving at reception they could not locate our reservations (two rooms for three nights) and whilst the gentleman smiled a lot and kept saying they would sort it out it took a very long time during which two members of staff kept passing us between them. This would have been bad enough but the fire alarm started to sound and both members of staff decided to try and sort out both issues - both badly! There were errors with the rooms assigned and cards muddled up. All of this would have been received much better if we had been offered a drink - which we were not. There was not any kind of apology for the mix up - and it took almost an hour to check in.

Bella struttura a pochi chilometri dall'incantevole Cascais. Personale e pulizia ottimi

Prachtige omgeving, uitstekend personeel. Top.Posted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en relatieve rust in het hotel.
Location: Het resort zelf is prachtig.

beautiful peaceful relaxingPosted Aug 23, 2015
We've staying in most of the hotels in Cascais but this is our favourite. Myself and my two boys (7&12) spent the most relaxing week. The hotel has access to the most amazing pools (one of which is salt water). The kids club is excellent including activities such as cooking and we loved the kids spa. The staff are professional and friendly, they really know how to deliver the five star service you expect from a hotel like this.

Great place to be, quiet, nice Hotel staff. Only a short trip to Cascais by taxi, scooter or bike. Breakfast is nice, and like in all other good Hotels the Food and Drinks in the Restaurants are not a bargain - but theres nice Restaurants to find in the surroundings (Cascais). Easy for daytrips to Lisbon...I would always book it again
