Clean, small, far from city center

Posted May 24, 2017
The room was very clean but location was far from ciry center and we ended up paying around 8 euros for cab into the city center every day. Staff friendly, bar open 24H. Recommend if you want to just sleep at the hotel.

Pros: Easy access to all main attractions via public transport Good breakfast Comfortable bed Quiet room Complimentary flavoured water in reception
Cons: A few more comfortable chairs in reception area. Greater choice of menu
Location: A few restaurants nearby but easy access to public transport to go to Lisbon central area.
Spent a few days exploring the sights of Lisbon, will be back to do more

Pros: Value and comfort
Nice hotel with all facilities needed to have a wonderful stay. Kind of far from historic sites but a short cab ride will take you there.

Comfortable and pleasant2

Posted Apr 8, 2017
Location: The location is quite convevient. Metro is nearby. It is close to the Gulbenkian Museum and not far from the Edward VII Park.
I think, it is one of the best hotels with respect to the ratio price/quality. The staff is friendly and professional, rooms comfortable enough and quiet, breakfasts of very good quality (and we were not hungry even till 2 or 3 p.m.). Perhaps, if we visit Lisbon once more, we'd prefer to stay at the same hotel.

Could not fault the brilliant staff

Posted Mar 28, 2017 on Hotels
Staff extremely helpful, but location a bit out of busy area The water pressure in the shower was very low and had to stand under the shower head to shower. The breakfast, in my opinion, was very poor and very limited. Not worth the money. Very nisy if you have a room with a connecting door to room next door, avoid this type of room.

Not so great

Posted Feb 21, 2017
The air conditioner did not work in the entire building. The rooms were VERY hot and dry. Couldn't open the window because the hotel is in a very noisy area. Don't bother with the food. I paid 10 euro for a microwave pizza, and 8 euro for a microwave hamburger. It was HORRIBLE. Only good thing was the staff and the Yellow Bus being near

Great if you are on a Budget

Posted Dec 12, 2016 on Hotels
This is no frills for sure, but very competitive on price. Rooms are very basic but you have all you need and very clean with good shower. Decent bar and cafe are downstairs. Hotel is close to the metro so easy to get into town, The Avenida is within walking distance, close to el Cortes shopping centre and Gulbenkian museum too. If you are on the budget this is a great option.
