- Lobby is under renovation; it's better if Expedia does not advertise nice lobby photos. I have got very disappointed when I saw there was no Lobby!
- Construction makes a lot of noise until 7 pm (from 8 a.m.)
- hot water was a problem in the room. You have to waste water up to 5 min to get warm water to shower
- card key was a problem; had to go to the Lobby 3 times to reactivate in 3 days stay
However; I was upgraded to a very nice suite at the top floor; cannot complain about the comfort of the room as it was great.
Lastly, duty managers, receptionists, and all the staff have been very nice, helpful and excellent. If they weren't that nice I would be leaving the hotel in the first hour.

As informed and announced previously, the hotel is having a period of renovations that will last from November 2016 to March 2017. With over 90 years of existence, this iconic Hotel has already been through several renovations, this is why we are prepared to continue providing you with a comfortable, positive experience.
Despite this situation, we look forward to welcome you in the future in order regain your trust and make you feel like a true Tivoli guest.
