On arrival the lobby area looked, nice, clean albeit dated. On checking in a guest in front was making a complaint, which was about the fact there are no irons in the hotel, you need to use their pressing service that is done at the hotels leisure not yours.
We checked in and went to our room and this is where we were shocked. The carpet looked like someone had unleashed gallons of water on it, it was badly water stained. There was no tea or coffee making facilities, only two plug sockets free (in the gadget age this is not acceptable) the décor looked in keeping with the outdated lobby.
Having had a very long journey and a wedding to note go to, we decided to have a shower. The first thing we got we brown tinted water, which runs for the first 5mins of turning on the shower. Once the brown water had gone, it was not too bad.

I have shared your comments with the staff and assure you that we will take the necessary steps to overcome the shortcomings you mentioned. Situations such as this are not normal in our hotel. Our overriding goal is always to provide all our guests with quality service, as I am sure you will be able to see on your next visit.
