"It's definitely a little bit outside of the city limits but it's a great area to be close to everything and travel distance from Cork to the Gap of dunlow to going to the blarney Castle and gardens. This is a wonderful quiet area and the house is definitely spacious and has enough room for everybody."

"This property was exactly as charming as expected. The owner took great care to make sure we felt welcomed with fresh treats, including fresh milk and eggs from the farm, and so many small details that made the house feel like home. The sea views are amazing and it was super convenient to all the sights we wanted to see while in the Kinsale area. Highly recommended!"

"We treated ourselves to a harbour view room which was nice but it does also look over the car park. We also chose it because we thought it had a private pool for residents - but in reality it is a public pool that hotel residents are allowed to use. Be prepared to share it with children's swimming lessons! The photos on the hotel site look like it is a spa pool just for us. The breakfast is AMAZING and the bed was super comfy."

"The hotel is ancient, but in good condition. It's oddly laid out, with lots of stairs, and a lift that goes to most of the rooms. Reception is up a long flight of stairs. The restaurant serves tasty food in a fairly small space. Beds are comfortable. There is on-street parking, free after 6 pm. The staff are pleasant and helpful."
