Clean and Comfy

Pleasant staff, quick check in, clean rooms, great breakfast, a gym, pool, great location. What more could you ask for?

Perfect Stay

I booked this hotel through Expedia. I got the exact room I booked. (King bed with sleeper sofa pullout). Room was a nice size. I had space to walk around and not feel cramped. Hotel staff was nice and they let me check in 2 hours early. Hotel and room was clean. I didn't have any problems with parking my vehicle here overnight. This hotel is in a perfect location, close to restaurants and shopping places. I would stay here again when I visit Lithonia.

Pros: it had breakfast
Cons: DON'T GIVE AWAY MY ROOM I PAID FOR AND CONFIRMED DAY OF
Location: I drove 10 miles from Stone Mtn to get there b/c it was the only hotel that supposedly "would be large enough for my family."
Called to confirm room before 10am. Informed receptionist I would be in after 11pm. Said no problem; room was mine until 2am. I confirmed it was a suite. Drove 10 mi out of the way to get there so all of my family would have somewhere to sleep and NO SUITE was left. I was told to book through the hotel site if I wanted to ensure I had the room I wanted. My family was split up into 2 floors. I paid $170 for a suite and had 2 beds.

Inconvenient

Another family member did not get requested room and had to spit up her family. My rooms was not queen size beds. One room had fleas in one need and when reported, the clerk made them feel as if they were lying. I took then a couple of their fleas the next day. Plus there room smelled like smoke and it was a smile free place. This was also reported. They did refunds me my money for both rooms, which is why they did not get a score of 1.

Amazing

The front desk agent was very nice from the beginning....She smiled and made me feel comfortable with choosing to stay at this property...The set up of the room gave me a Wow!! Will I return... Yes..Yes...& Yes!!

Check in clerk was courteous but had difficulty deciding what room to put us in and then sent us to one that hadn't been cleaned. Studio room was not nearly as roomy as it looks in the pictures.

Very Disappointed

Pros: The location
Cons: Customer accommodation, cleanliness of pool area, ventilation and chlorine levels
I rented the Queen double suite room for a special occasion. I rented the room 1 week in advance to ensure there would be no issues. I get to the hotel to check in and am told my room is no longer available. They over booked the hotel and I would have to take a standard room. I was told that if a hotel patron decides to extend their stay they allow them and cannot kick them out of the room. I have been to hotels before and if I wanted to extend my stay they would let me know what was available and moved me accordingly. They did not inconvenience the person checking in who has already reserved that type of room. I asked to be accommodated and they gave me a little off of the rate but in all fairness I needed either an additional room or to be comp for the room. They said there was nothing they could do. If I was not in a crunch time wise I would have left. The front desk staff didn't seem to be compassionate to my inconvenience. The swimming pool was dirty, very cloudy and the chlorine levels were very high. To the point you couldn't really breathe in the swim area and they didn't have ventilation. Couldn't open windows nor the door to get circulation. It was so bad I couldn't put my 7 mos old baby in the water because I wasn't sure what was in it. My older son swam and didn't swim under the water with his goggles because he couldn't see under the water anyway. I was very disappointed and will not stay or recommend anyone to stay here. I will also complain to corporate office
