Convenient but not pleased

Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: upkeep of the rooms, fix holes in the structure
Location: perfect
Check in was fast and pleasant. Location was convenient for what I was in town for. But the room was in poor condition for the price I paid. The was a hole in the wall by the coffee station, hole in the divider between the couch and the beds. The bathroom door dragged across the floor each time you opened or closed it so anytime someone went to the bathroom during the night it woke up everyone in the room. plus this room is not suited for any kind of privacy. I was traveling with my teenage boys so we all had to get dressed in with the toilet which is small and nowhere to put stuff or see what you are doing. poor design. Next time I will stay in one of the other hotels in the area.

We were kicked out because they said we were over combasity but the room said 4-6 people and it was only 6 of us I called in the morning and the general manage got on the phone and said I didn't have to leave because we were not over combasity because we had a double bed room . The security just wanted to mess with us

Excellent place to stay

My husband and I always stay at this particular Hyatt when we go home. Service is always great and staff are very accommodating. Excellent choices at breakfast. The only "not so good" comment I always make is about Hyatt's coffee. I love experiencing different coffee at hotels and restaurants when we travel. The Hyatt's coffee, in my opinion, is so bad. Sorry! But I love my Hyatt hotels.

Small stuff detracted from overall condition

Nothing major but all together I felt like the room hadn't been paid attention to. First, when I entered the room, I noticed an empty gatorade bottle in the main trash can. Later, in the bath, the shower curtain rod worked but was very loose and flopping around when you moved the curtain because the holders had been stripped out on the wall. The toilet seat cover bolts were so loose the seat itself would about slide off the bowl. A big annoyance was the input functions on the tv were linked to a "smart hub" that wasn't so smart. None of them worked so you couldn't connect a computer or Roku/AppleTV/dvd player/etc so I couldn't watch Netflix. The handles on the cabinet doors were crooked as well as the actual bedside stand that was mounted on the wall- crooked. Finally, the safety lock on the door was barely attached- all the screws except one had been stripped out leaving holes in the metal and leading me to wonder what had happened in that room? All and all I slept fine, the a/c worked, the lights worked, etc. It's just the small stuff that you start noticing and then see everywhere and make you ask yourself if you're staying at a Hyatt or at a half-priced motel. The location is good- right next to the mall and lots of restaurants and the breakfast buffet was good.

Convenient location that needs to be renovated

The staff members were friendly, professional and helpful, however, the bathroom and shower area lacked cleanliness. Someone came to our room promptly to clean and apologized for the condition of the room. At first glance the accommodations appear to be top notch, but you will definitely notice the need for renovation within the guestrooms.

Nasty!!!!

This was the most horrible experience ever. I always stay in this hotel when i visit atlanta. I don't know what happened. My room was filthy. Paper peeling off walls, and on the floor, red stains on the floor. I will never stay nor recommend this hotel to anyone

Very nice hotel. Wonderful for relaxing. Very nice that the sinks and bathroom are separated so two people can get ready at the same time. Only downside was when housekeeping came they did not replenish the coffee and leave more coffee and water cups. Other than that the breakfast was fantastic and staff was very nice.

very nice rooms!

Pros: room was clean and very nice
Cons: breakfast - had fixings out for oatmeal, but only had grits, coffee was bitter, eggs were gross - otherwise good
Location: on way in to Atlanta - we were going specifically for yoyo contest around GA Tech area
Check-in made me wait for a few minutes while she was on the phone, but admittedly we arrived at 10 pm. Room was much nicer than we expected, with an awesome couch.
