They were no warning that the property was under construction!! I felt very unsafe walking to the elevator from the front counter, My room. Heat didn’t work! It’s freezing in here !! I called the front desk. No one has responded yet! I’ve been on the road. Driving for over 15 hours. Therefore I can’t relocate due to lack of sleep

Only one problem that kept us from using the front elevator and that was construction work. No problem to go around the back. Maintenace gets done in the off-season. No problem, just unhandy as I'd had eye surgery that morning and I was not too maneuverable. Also, the staff let us check in early and I thank them for that. That was nice of them.

Overall Good Stay
We had multiple rooms for a visit to see family over the holidays. I’d stay here again, given the totally reasonable cost of the rooms and the convenient location. I’ll start with the good. First, the staff were all very friendly… they welcomed us, joked around, and tried to help if we needed anything. The rooms were very clean, and the mattresses were comfortable. Our room was exceptionally quiet, too. I remember reading a few concerning reviews about the area around the hotel, but we had no issues with the area. It was well lit and near many restaurants and major thoroughfares to get around Little Rock. There were a few issues that were out of anyone’s control. They are renovating the hotel so the water was periodically turned off, but the front desk clerk let us know when and it was always after we’d left for the day, so not inconvenient. The stairwell was a little messy due to the construction. Where I think there is room to improve: the shower curtain was too short so there was water on the floor after showering. My pillows were very flat. They looked normal until you put your head on them and then they flattened like pancakes. They also overbooked rooms with 2 queen beds, so we were unable to get the type room we’d reserved until the next day. We got a room, just not the right one. They did fix the situation the next day. So nothing terrible, and as I said, I’d stay there again for the great rate I got.

Just stayed for one night. Room was average . In the morning , no one was at the cafe to tend to customers . They just disappear. Same when we were ready to checkout , a staff was right inside and wouldn’t attend phone calls or us at the desk. Lazy staff, very unfriendly.

Nice hotel in the downtown area. Rooms are newly renovated and super clean. Location quick on and off the interstate so it’s perfect. The young man at the front desk was nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was really nice we did get in kind of late. But everything was really nice and clean and the lobby was very pretty. Check in & out was smooth and easy. The room was nice sheets where clean. Only problem I had with the room was the shower! I don’t want to take a shower and have my feet flooded like I’m standing in a kiddie pool :/

The motel itself is going through a remodel. The exterior and Lobby area was nice with the bar and cozy fire. The exterior was also nice with a fire pit and seating area. The room was fine except the bed was leaned downward, couch smelled of mildew and house keeping banging on my door at 8:30am. The staff was really nice at check in and out. I think once they get done with the remodel everything will be fine. We got the room because of the location from the hospital and restaurants near by.

When we arrived at our Courtyard Marriott in Little Rock, Arkansas, they said our reservations had been canceled because the hotel was overbooked. They said an e- mail had been sent about the situation on Oct. 31. No such e- mail was found. We were sent up the road to a Towne Suites Marriott. When we arrived at this hotel, they said our reservations there had been canceled as well, but they could give us rooms. Very frustrating situation and not appreciated. Why did they not tell us they were overbooked when the reservations were made? Very strange and shady. The Towne Suites Marriott were adequate, but we did not appreciate driving 81/2 hours to be told we didn’t have rooms in the hotel we had booked.

It’s just ok
I expected better from a Marriott hotel. There was no complimentary breakfast. It was clean looking but as usual you can tell the floors aren’t cleaned. The bed was very comfortable, but you could hear everything in our room…TVs on next door, people walking and every door that opened and shut. It wasn’t quiet, but somehow I managed to get a good nights sleep.

Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
The check in was good. No hot water in the shower. No Air conditioning. Temp was 75 degrees. Pool closed. Balcony door was open. Shady people walking around outside the hotel. One walked in talking gibberish. The staff made sure he left. I’ll never stay there again. Far below usual Courtyard standards.
