Nice location should be nicer once renovation is complete. I have stayed here about 6 times in 2017. I enjoyed my stays before renovation and don't see any concerns once they complete them.
This was a very reasonably priced stay for the BDB 100 Bicycle event. Free parking. Veey large room. Easy ride across river to start/finish line. Walking distance to registration and old Statehouse Friday Party.
Friendly and informative staff from the minute I walked in the door. Very interesting museum. Great location. Exceptionally clean. The bunks were comfortable for a hostel. I recommend this hostel to anyone!
The gym equipment could stand to be updated, and maybe a little flexibility on having Togo containers to take back to the room. We had a 3-year-old that just was not ready to eat before ten. Again, the Wyndham is a great place to stay that is in close proximity to the Riverwalk and scenic views,

Easy to reach hotel from I-30/I-40. Hotel is in an area that seems a bit unsafe—man drinking in public loitering around hotel entrance along with a panhandler. Not many eating options close by.
