The room was fantastic!

Pros: The great river view and the pristine rooms.
Cons: Re-think the restaurant and improve the food.
Location: Excellent location for the concert we were attending at the Verizon Arena. It is a nice, central location for about anything you would want to do.
The hotel is in a great location; it is a beautiful hotel -- the room was fantastic! The only improvement I would make would be to the restaraunt/bar. We went down for a bite to eat and there was one bartender working while people were having afternoon drinks and others were coming in to eat. I felt sorry for him but we needed to get our food and get done because we were headed to a concert.

The hotel staff were very good. There is remodeling/construction taking place in the lobby. Other than a little noise at the hotel entry not an issue.

Hotel is great, service is terrible

The hotel is very pretty and super clean! It's attached to the convention center making it very convenient! However, I had made specific requests before my visit that were never fulfilled. Then, the second day I requested more coffee for the room and it took over a hour to arrive. Service for this hotel is terrible! If you don't need anything special then it's great, but don't expect good service.

The air was out and it was 100 degrees!

Pros: Nothing. We ordered hambure
The air was out and they sent someone to fix it but it did not help. They said the air was motion activated so who moves constantly in their sleep?

Passing through on a road trip...

We were stopping through on a road trip, so we were only here for one night. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean and comfortable. I loved that there was a bell staff available to assist us with our luggage when we checked in. Valet parking was swift. Hotel was within walking distance of many restaurants.

Check convention schedule

Overall the hotel is ok. There is only 1 restaurant and the coffee shop has a limited selection. The hotel is connected to the convention center, and unfortunately for us there was a convention firing our stay. This resulted in a delay in getting our room ready, loud and not relaxing feel to the lobby area, limited menu @ the restaurant , and a crush at the elevators. I wish the hotel would announce when such large conventions are being held--we would've chosen to stay elsewhere

Food could have been better

Pros: Room view, bed is always comfie
Cons: The food
Location: Clinton Presidential Library, Old State House--great exhibits in both
The hotel overall was very good. Staff was responsive, the room was nice. But, the food not so much. We thought the restaurant was overpriced, loud (contiguous with the bar) and the décor was dark.
