The parking lot had 3/4 of the lights not working. The smoke detector was removed from the room. When I plug my cpap into the outlet the light that was plugged into it started flickering and the outlet pulled out of the wall. There was 2 pillows in the room. I asked for more but was told they didn't have any.

Booking mistakes were made, run!
TL;DR: avoid this place! We needed a quick place to sleep during a road trip and figured the price was good and the pictures online looked totally fine so we’ll give it a shot. After seeing the hallways and the room, we decided to eat the non refundable cost and found a different hotel. The side door does not lock, so somewhat sketchy people are letting themselves into the side laundry room one at a time while another stands guard outside for whatever reason. The hallways are filled with a heavy smoke haze and an awful smell. Once getting inside the room you’ll need a flashlight as the lightbulbs from all but one light fixture (across the room) are missing. The security lock on the inside of the door has been broken off, there are stains on the bed, the bathroom faucet leaks out of the handle when on, the walls have a ton of holes (some have been very poorly patched), there was a broken screen from the window inside the room, and the ceiling had cracks with water marks. Overall, we felt gross just being in the hotel & room let alone to stay the night. We quickly went to dinner and found a different place to stay.

Red Rough Inn
This hotel was rated 6.8, and this is not reflective of this hotel. Our room had broken lights, graffiti written on the chair, mold in the bathroom. We booked a room for our family of 4, and the bathroom had 2 towels, no washcloths, no hand towels, no tissues. We booked a non-smoking room that reeked of cigarette and other smoke. The plug-in sparked when we tried to charge our phone and no other plug-in would allow to cords to stay connected. Overall, there is a great deal of maintenance and upkeep that is needed at this facility.
These lights were broken and did not work.
The chair was old, worn, and had writing on the arm.
This lamp was barely standing upright.

The hotel as a whole seemed run-down. The lobby, hallways, and our room all smelled like smoke, faintly but pervasive enough that I could smell it on our clothes several hours after we left. There was no elevator (not a huge deal, but odd for a two-story hotel), and no continental breakfast as was advertised in the app when we booked. The lobby had tiles hanging loose from the wall behind the desk and holes in chair cushions. Our room was fairly clean and the beds were comfortable, but one bedspread was stained in several places and the sink in the bathroom had a leak that dripped onto the floor. The TV turned on but wouldn’t change channels, and the refrigerator ran but didn’t cool. Our lamp had a bare bulb, with the broken lamp shade sitting on a counter. The other group in our party switched rooms because their TV didn’t work, and they had to take their lamp with them because their new room was missing one. They also heard a fight in the parking lot in the middle of the night, and heard mention of a gun - if I had known that at the time, we would have left immediately. Overall not a pleasant experience, and we absolutely would not stay here again.

My husband had a stroke while we were vacationing. I needed somewhere for one night. Pictures looked good. Red roofs I’ve stayed at before were good. I walked into this one and it was very dirty. When I got to the room it was even worse. Only two light bulbs worked in entire room. The floor Lamps light bulb was hanging to the side of lamp with burnt up lampshade on the floor. I have pictures of everything I’m talking about as well. The sheets had stains, comforter had a bunch of major burn holes, you stuck to the floor every time you walked on it, end tables full of paint and burns. Then I lay down as I’ve walked into another nightmare of the day. The workers at this motel started breaking up all the furniture they removed from the building, nothing but pounding and throwing into a dumpster right outside my window till 10pm!!!! Mind you I had not slept the entire night before. A complete waste of money and time for me. But if you want your skin to crawl, then it’s the right place! I know people are going to say, why didn’t you just go to another motel. Well, I was in er the entire night before, they decided my husband had to get life flighted to little rock. Which was a 3hr drive from were we were visiting friends. We live out of state and not even a tiny bit familiar with the area! I could not function safely any longer.

It was not good because all the workers stayed high as a kite and the worker that night was passed out and could not function at all something needs to be done and I will not stay there again and all I could smell was weed I would not recommend no one to stay there again honestly I want money back because of how bad it was and sure was not clean

The front desk staff were like "meh" when you greet them. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and welcoming as well as helpful. Now on their website, this was the deciding factor for my selecting this particular hotel to stay at was they advertised that they served "breakfast" I felt that I had been ripped off when I went to the lobby to partake in the advertised breakfast only to be laughed at and be told "we haven't done that in years" One guy (don't know if he worked there or not) offered to check and see if there was any more coffee "left in the back" if I wanted any. I did notice a few people (employees?) sleeping in the lobby two nights out of the four nights that I stayed there.

Poop on walls
One of the worst experiences we had there were people smoking weed outside as we got there then we were sent to a room that had the maid's cart in it and the beds were not even made then the second room we were sent to had holes in the wall holes in the bathroom door Cigarette holes In the blankets and in the towels and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room then there was also poop rubbed on the wall when a maid was called to come and clean it off of the wall she complained that that was not her job finally she took a wash cloth wet it and wiped most of it off I had to clean it with Clorox wipes myself There was also people running up-and-down the halls all night and it sounds like moving furniture we hardly got any sleep it was terrible

Not happy
Had to move 3 times. The first room i couldn't control the a/c (knobs were gone). The 2nd room was so smokey i could barely breath. The 3rd and finally room had stains on the comforters and 3 long hair on the toilet set.

This property has false advertising. I booked this place because it stated outdoor pool and rooms recently renovated. The pool was empty, the walls had holes in them, the bed linen had holes in them from cigarette burns, there was sacks of leaking garbage in the hallway that smelled so bad, the outside appearance looked awful, the exterior air conditioners were busted and broke, and we were so scared our vehicle was not safe in the parking lot. On a 1 to 5 scale, I would rate it a -4. I will never stay there again!!!!
