They gave someone my room and I was left to find a place to stay in a strange city. The staff was not helpful and they told multiple lies about Expedia in which I have used for years without any problems. I will have to think hard about booking a room at this hotel ever again.

I am so sorry to hear you had an issue getting your room. Our policy is not to ever turn anyone with a guaranteed reservation away. If for some reason we are overbooked, we will pay for their stay at a nearby hotel. If this is not what happened in your case I do apologize.
