I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It's in a small street and has a very small frontage. Walking through the door into the small but very modern and fashionable lobby to be greeted by a very friendly receptionist was brilliant. She was extremely welcoming and when we asked about the location of certain things (we'd never been to Liverpool before) she drew the best shopping streets on a small map for us, which once again was fantastic service as, even though a small gesture, she was not obliged to do it but did so of her own accord. The room in which I had was relatively small, but extremely clean, tidy and modern all the same! Great shower, very comfortable bed, flat screen TV on the wall, all the necessary features; kettle, free wifi, iron and board, hairdryer, bathroom shampoos and shower gel (and a very friendly looking rubber duck). I honestly think the only things I can fault would be the slightly small room size and the fact that there were only 2 normal flavoured teabags (but if you're a fan of green tea, early grey and all that lark, you won't be disappointed) I had a very pleasant stay!
