Great location next to the Docks

Posted Apr 24, 2017
Cons: Business people should not be conducting meetings at Breakfast, they should use the lounge area.
Location: Highly recommend Beatles Experience, Ferry across the Mersey and Cavern Club.
Lovely hotel. Very comfortable beds and excellent service

Posted Mar 12, 2017
Pros: Comfortable, warm and welcoming in a great location close to shopping, restaurants and the wonderful waterfront. Parking was no problem.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Liverpool One gas all the shops you would need for a great shopping experience.
We went to a family wedding in a hotel nearby, but I was so pleased to have booked the Hilton for our stay.

Great hotel in fabulous location.

Posted Mar 5, 2017
Pros: Location and facilities.
Cons: Drinks were too expensive at the bar. Ive travelled the world and realise hotel bar prices are costly but these were a little over the top.
Location: We were local to the bars and restaurants of the city and driving in from the motorway was a breeze.
This hotel was ideal for a recent business meeting. The location was central to everything and driving in was easy as was parking. Hotel staff were friendly and the rooms were spacious and incredibly clean. Facilities were top notch and high quality cleaning products were in the bathroom ready for guest arrival.

Not a special birthday treat

Posted Feb 22, 2017
Pros: Lady in executive bar helpful
Cons: See above maintenance. Afternoon tea with better quality food
Location: Great Albert Dock museums shops
Broken toilet seat on arrival. Offered another room next to lift by executive lounge . Noisy so declined. Repaired though but on final afternoon. Wooden door trim to bathroom had large chunk out of it. When husband stood on this caught foot and it acted like a vice. Nasty. Reported but not fixed. Previous guests had eaten Pringles and left empty pot. Had to report so we were not charged for them. Afternoon tea disappointing. Soggy sandwiches with mainly cheese. Service poor had to ask for tea. One tiny pot of jam for two scones. On final morning carpet layers next door prevented us from having quiet time reading papers prior to going. Considering we were paying for executive room and hotel knee this was a special birthday treat I spent precious time reporting repairs used refreshments by previous guests. When asked if everything was ok on leaving was rendered speechless. Breakfast had to be microwaved as tiny heaters underneath useless. Lady in executive lounge lovely and helpful. Expensive two days for poor housekeeping and maintenance.

Good hotel by Albert Dock

Posted Feb 19, 2017
Well-located, secure hotel with good facilities. Efficient and friendly staff. Breakfast a bit limited (and pretty cold) for hotel of this standard. In future, I'd take the room-only option and eat nearby.
