Central Hotel in Liverpool CBD

Pros: Excellent service 24/7, proximity to everything of interest in Liverpool Central.
Cons: Nothing to dislike about this Marriott. Great staff and ambience.
Location: Close to everything including Shops, Anfield, the Docks, Train Station, Museum etc

Pros: location
Location: very centrally located. Close to Lime street station and buses, easy walk to the cavern, shops and all other local attractions,
2 double beds. window opened slightly for fresh air which was good. Room comfortable and large enough.

Pros: Two double beds so more economical than two separate rooms when visiting the university with teenage daughter
Cons: Some noise from bus station behind hotel and WiFi not free as standard
Location: Very close to Lime street station and universities, plus all the shopping, restaurant restaurants and bars

Expedia bookings not guaranteed your room type!

If you book through Expedia the hotel told us they can't guarantee any rooms. Even though it does not disclose this anywhere when booking. We ended up with a double bed instead of twin beds and the staff said they would get us a separate bed, but a separate bed never turned up! Shower leaked: drip, drip, drip all night. Electrical fault with light in the bathroom causing it to flash and flicker incessantly. Spa was not available to answer any calls for bookings and after several weeks of trying were then fully booked. Breakfast was good and so were the staff at breakfast.

Very nice hotel but no breakfast included in the price. Facilities good and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel, close to Lime St station

Pros: Staff
Cons: Attention to detail in the rooms
Location: Handy for station and shops, really central, loads to do.
Staff helpful and friendly - definitely this hotel's greatest asset. Leisure facilities good. Room was spacious and clean but a few little things let it down - such as rusty spots on bathroom tiles. Overall, a good hotel but not as luxurious as I expected.
