Pros: Staff were nice enough
Cons: Everything
Location: Nothing around - it is a taxi journey or long walk to anywhere
We booked this hotel as it was valentines weekend and everywhere else in Liverpool was £200+ and we didn't need anything fancy just somewhere to rest our drunken heads for 1 night. It's in the middle of no where down by the docks with nothing else around but the docks. The taxi drivers had no idea where to find it either. Got a twin room with clean sheets which was all that mattered to us really but tv didn't work, wi-fi didn't work, heating didn't work and our toilet and shower were on the other side of the corridor shared with the other hotel occupants on our floor! Breakfast was poor - no hot food. Was cheapest we could find that weekend but even then it was overpriced for what we got!

Pros: Nothing!!
Cons: Everthing
Location: Nothing to do in Bootle but It's only 4 stops on the metro from Liverpool city centre.
The hotel is opposite the docks/industrial area of Bootle (the town centre is 2.5 miles away!!), so there are no aminities close ie pub shops etc. There wasn't any hot water in the shower room. Expedia's description says you would be a continental breakfast, there wasn't. All there was small boxes of cereal & the cheapest bread around that didn't look very appitising.

Cheap good location and but not much else.

I booked a room at short notice due to cheap price only £27 including breakfast but should have probably spent a bit more and got a better hotel, location was good near town centre and breakfast was good with reasonable variety, but the room itself was very disappointing the window was not air tight right next to the bed making it quite cold to sleep, the central heating was not working although an electric heater was provided i did not use it as was a bit scared to leave it on at night while i slept, the power shower in the ensuite was broken and only had really ice cold water to shower with in the morning. the basin taps didnt work properly, there was a kettle in the room to make tea or coffee. As one reviewer said before if you pay peanuts you get monkeys.
