Good stay let down by lost property incident

Very nice hotel in a great location with free access to the falls. Hand massage at check-in and great room with nice view. Only let down was that we left some things behind and no-one at the hotel made the effort to let us know (Despite having our details) - it took us a few days to realise as we were travelling. OK, our fault, and I wouldn't expect a chain hotel to follow up with us, but at £400 ($600) a night, I think it's poor form for the hotel just to put stuff in lost property without making any effort to contact us
