Excellent location. Very close to the old town (3 minute walk to the triple bridge). The staff were nice, you get free breakfast and it was very good quality. I would highly recommend.

We stayed in the deluxe room and this was excellent - really comfortable. Great location from the centre, nice bar in the hotel and lots of nearby bars and restaurants.

I must express my utmost gratitude for the exceptional service I received during my recent stay. Despite having to change my dates and request an early check-in, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Although my booking was prepaid and non-refundable, they graciously adjusted my reservation, providing me with rooms two days earlier than the booked dates. Upon check-in, the staff extended further assistance, allowing us to settle in a few hours ahead of schedule. Additionally, as we had an early morning flight on the day of departure, I had requested a breakfast packet. Unfortunately, there was a slight oversight in the kitchen, and the packet was not prepared. However, the sincerity and professionalism of the front desk staff in rectifying the situation were truly commendable. They offered us some alternatives as to compensate, which I declined as their genuine concern and proactive measures left a lasting impression on me.

Room was very small. Shower cubicle leaked to bathroom floor. Coffee machine at breakfast required very long time in queue to obtain coffee.

The hotel and staff were excellent. My room was absolutely perfect and large compared to many European hotel rooms. The hotel is a little bit of a walk to the Old Town - about 15 minutes but flat walk.

Just an amazing hotel. Staff was great, room Was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was amazing! 25 minutes from airport and less than 5 minutes from all the sites you would want to see.

Great location. Great coffee shop/restaurant in building, very walkable location. Rooms are pretty small. If your room is facing the space in-between buildings which overlooks their delivery, trash, staff area, it tends to get a bit noisy every morning, so wear earplugs or request a room on a different side.

When your room is hotter than the sun!
Location: great. Staff: flippant. Rooms: hot Overall: meh We stayed for two nights. The hotel reception is pretty new and sleek, the rooms slightly tired. We ended up in a room with the ‘inside courtyard’. A greenhouse. Night one we slept with both windows open, the air con on (not working) and all 3 radiators off. It’s still hotter than the sun in the room (it’s 3 degrees outside). We were then moved into a smaller room and only offered a fluffy elephant as compensation by the girl on the desk. Finally after half a day of back and forth, we got a room the same size as paid for with an actual outdoor window to let some air in! Bring a fan if you’re staying, you’ll need it!

Hotel SLON last weekend
Overall, a good experience. Comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, a great variety of food during breakfast - tick. However, my friend needs gluten free diet and availability of such products was not obvious. When he asked for gluten free bread, it took a while for the staff to bring it over to the table. Other than that a positive experience.

Excellent Place to Stay in Ljubljana
This hotel is in a great location just around the corner from Presernov trg, the triple bridge and the market. Our room was of good size with a spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was superb with a large variety of hot and cold items. The food in the lounge was very good as well. Above all, the best attribute of this hotel is their staff. The waitstaff and housekeepers are wonderful. Most outstanding are the front desk staff. They are professional, friendly and attentive. Gasper, Vanja,and especially Petra went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was truly enjoyable. We would undoubtedly stay at the BW Premier Slon again if we return to Ljubljana.

It is the most conveniently located hotel and very good but there were things that i did not like 1. The beds are very uncomfortable 2. The pillows are horrible 3. Getting in and out of the tub is difficult - too high and if you touch your knee getting in the skin will come out 4. Water from the shower floods the bathroom - we need to mop the floor after a shower so it is safe for us to use the bathroom again - a simple shower curtain would help. We did that for a week! 5. Does not accept AAA unless booked through AAA and they are informed of that a week before.

Was in a great location, very close to the old town. Great staff, very helpful. Our room was good, but looking out on a back street unfortunately. But the room was good, bed comfy and the bathroom was more than adequate.

Best location in town, staff was amazing, the breakfast buffet was by far one of the best I’ve had in years! Spacious room, loved the spa! Valet had our car ready at the exact time we agreed the day before we left. Would re-book in a heartbeat!
