“Het ontbijt is heel goed. Kwaliteit. Speciale wensen (mayonaise voor het ei, plastic zakjes voor lunchpakket) worden soepel gehonoreerd. Wat je niet op eet mag je dus meenemen. Dat mag lang niet overal. De gastheer zorgt ervoor dat je je snel thuis voelt. Overdadig badlinnen.”

A huge highlight was the front desk service—I wish I had caught the name of the young woman working there, as she was unbelievably nice had worked there since she was 15 and gave the most helpful local recommendations for sightseeing. ​The restaurant on-site was excellent, and the morning buffet breakfast was outstanding. “This is an absolute GEM. We loved every part of the stay. The unique house type for a family is a very interesting design concept but was very efficient. It wasn’t the biggest room for the 3 men, but we made the most of it by sharing the space peacefully. Everything was about saving the earth which I also love taking part in. “Locatie is een plaatje, vlakbij de IJssel. Aankleding hotel is basis, maar dat heeft een prettig ruimtelijk effect. Personeel behulpzaam. En Zutphen is prachtig.”

“Very central location really close to the main dining street of Doetinchem. Staff really welcoming and friendly. Nice breakfast. Comfortable beds. We had a problem with water pressure in our second floor room floor and they offered to change our room when we brought it to their attention. ”

“We had an exceptional "birthday stay," after enjoying a day and evening in Deventer. Everything was super great: Reception personnel, the room, the bed, the shower with wonderful-smelling bath gel, the view. Parking was easy, close, lots of available spaces. It made it seamless to buy ferry tickets at the hotel. The ferry to the city center was less than a 5 minute walk. We didn't have dinner at the hotel, but breakfast options were extensive, high quality and satisfying, including the coffee……
