Vapors Beware

Pros: Breakfast and coffee was good, the room was clean
Cons: Staff was nice enough but let there be a problem to solve and I found them lacking.
Location: Food with in walking distance
I am a non-smoker, no vaps nothing. However I booked 4 rooms for a contractor, maintenance staff and myself. The hotel has you sign a card when checking in, no smoking, no pets, no parties. But if you read the fine print below, no e-cigs or vaps. I think they should point this out because they are making the assumption everyone knows vaping is smoking. It was our bad, we all signed and didn't catch it. The contractor vaped and the hotel wanted to charge $250 for the room to be cleaned and stated they couldn't rent the room that night. This hotel was booked solid, I don't believe they didn't rent the room. When checking out I ask if the problem was resolved since my credit card covered the situation. They said yes, then said wait we checked the wrong room. They dropped the charge to a $100. I paid on the spot. The next day I start receiving emails I owe more money. I finally got problem resolved. But the Staffs lack of communication, they didn't return calls......I cleared up the situation because I kept after it. I have rented about 18 nights with this hotel in the past two months. I was very disappointed in the way this situation was handled.

Since these were all Expedia reservations, the billing error was with our Expedia direct bill account and did not affect your personal credit card; therefore we corrected the issue directly with Expedia. Nonetheless, it is clear that we could have done a better job of communicating with you about your stay. We hope to see you again very soon and you can be sure that our staff will go above and beyond to be sure you and your guests both understand our smoking policies and enjoy your stay.

When I arrived, my room wasn't not ready. The staff showed where I could wait comfortably and made sure to obtain my contact information to notify me when my room was ready. The hotel staff checked in with me to provide me updates on the room's availability. Great customer service!

Out of town for work

Pros: Staff seems very customer oriented.
Cons: The trash trucks come through to empty the dumspters in the area at 4:00 am. I listen to them both days instead of sleeping.
Location: Many restaurants close by, in town for work so not sure what other activities are in the area.
The hotel is centrally located to food and shopping for almost anything. Many with in walking distance.

Made graduation stay more pleasant

Called to let them know we would be checking in past 11pm. When we arrived, desk girl said room was canceled. She was able to still accommodate us w/ a room w/ only 1 bed instead of the 2 I booked in the original reservation, but was able to give me a lower room rate. Hotel very nice. Only complaint was there was shaved hair on the shower walls from someone cleaning their razor. Obviously the bathtub was not cleaned prior to us taking the room. Other than that, location was perfect for my son’s graduation from Lock Haven University.

Business Trip

Pros: Internet worked well, pool is clean to relax.
Cons: better communication with cleaning staff. I had a maid walk into my room when i was sitting at the desk.
Location: Location is very central to food, and the highway.
Very clean hotel, great stay for the money. I always stay here when I come into town for business.

yes, we will stay here again. The college is right across from here and and literally only a walking distance away.
