Construction war zone

Pros: mattress was ok
Cons: everything else
I made a reservation here because it is a good location on our trip and La Quinta at one time used to do good breakfasts. Hotel was under construction and of course we did not know that when we booked. NO working exercise facility and breakfast was useless. NO yogurt or fresh fruit and no boiled eggs or scrambled eggs. Expedia you should delist this place when it is under construction. It makes Expedia look bad that it is even on your website.!!!

Under construction

ENTIRE hotel was under construction. Floors dirty, walls not finished, no parking. Could only use doors on end of hotel.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: The obvious, completed renovation before taking reservations.
Hotel was under renovation and not setup for guests. Expedia did not inform me of this and therefore will question use of this website in the future.

Dog friendly,currently remodeling

This is a goto hotel that usually has vacancies and is dog friendly. They are doing a huge remodeling job, which was definitely need.

Major Work Being Done

Felt like I was walking into a construction site. Floor clearly under major renovation but wasn’t told before we checked in. Molding removed around door in bathroom. Assume as part of renovations but not sure. Should not be charging full-price at this hotel while this is going on. Should also make sure patrons are made aware before they check-in. I’d already paid through website and didn’t want to go through the hassle of requesting a refund and finding another hotel. Just not good....

The room and staff was helpful. Since the room was recently remodeled, the hair dryer was missing. The breakfast was not that good, but I can let that go because the room was sooooo clean!

Stay was good, under renovation at the time of our stay, so conditions were not optimum. I would stay overnight at this hotel again if in the area.

Room Good hotel renovations horrible

Pros: Close to I-75
Cons: Working on one floor at a time for renovations
Location: Nice location to restaurants, and the outlet mall
Upon arrival, the lobby looked fine. Staff pleasantly checked us in. The hotel was under renovation, and I wish I would have known this upon booking. The elevator was dirty, floor and walls. This was not just construction dirt either. The hallway floor had dried paint blotches and was dirty. The actual room was clean and updated, but it was like a war zone to get to it. Actually, the trim on the inside of the bathroom was not completed, but that was ok. There was dirt and mold in the freezer of the refrigerator, Some areas of the hotel had tiles removed from the ceiling and wires and AC ducts were exposed. The food area was ok. The spouts on the oj and apple juice pitchers were dirty. The small refridge that held the yogurt needed to be defrosted. I have never written a review, and have overlooked issues in other hotels, but this was overwhelming!! I don't see why they just did not close off one section of the hotel at a time, so it didn't look so crazy?? Stay here AFTER renovation is complete!! My Mom had issues with her Wheelchair acessible room, but I will let her do that review!! Oh, yes people were staying here due to the hurricane..one girl said she went to a nearby hotel to workout and lounge beause of construction sad she was there for 2 more weeks...

Was quite upset that I was not notified before booking that the hotel was under construction. I would not have booked and used a free night in a hotel under construction.

The hotel in genera was not very clean - needs lots of paint, updating. Would NOT stay there again
