Things went wrong here from the outset. Check-in should take a couple of minutes; it took at least 45 minutes. First they couldn't find the reservation, though I had a reservation number and confirmation from Expedia. That took 20 minutes and the manager had to be brought in. Then they checked me into a room and when I went up to it, the room was occupied. This is a big hotel and hauling the luggage down long corridors was all left to me, even after this mistake on the part of the management. No one from the hotel offered to help with the luggage. To compensate for these mishaps, they gave me a much bigger room--except that it overlooked a place where there was construction, and I was woken up at 7 am by the rumbling sound of construction machinery. Then the room wasn't cleaned, though I had explicitly asked if room were cleaned every night and I was told, "absolutely, yes." Of course I complained and the next day the manager sat down with me and assured me that they would give me a complimentary stay the next time I should come!! Some consolation--or rather none, since the manager had said he would take down my email, etc., and of course they didn't bother to do so when I checked out. A very disappointing hotel, to say the least.

Fantastic stay
I love returning to Andel's because of its architectural design and the location. I love that you can get decent breakfast and coffee. The pool was never busy and the view from the top was lovely.

Unexpected problems
This was the second time I was made to pay a substantial early check in fee having arrived around noon. I travel a lot and never had any similar issues - it is understood that availability is not guaranteed early but if plenty of rooms are available - this is unacceptable. Both times it was the same receptionist- Karolina. I was one of the first guests after this hotel opened and have been here dozens of times, brought numerous guests. I may go elsewhere from now.

A great choice when in Łódź.
This is a great place to stay in Łódź. Check-in is seamless, the room was up to date, and the architecture is certainly different, as it is an adaptation of a previous-century textile manufactury. It is adjacent to the Manufaktura shopping complex, so food and someplace to wander in the evening are a short walk away (it does not connect directly to the hotel). The breakfast buffet has everything you need and is of good quality. If you have a car, it is best to pass the obvious front entrance, turn right into the complex beyond and go down the hotel parking lot ramp to the right, taking a ticket as you enter. The ticket will be validated for exit from the lot when you check out (note it is paid parking only). The only fault I can find with this property is that the underground parking lot is very dimly lit and the spaces take some maneuvering to park without scraping the concrete pillars or next car over—go slowly!! (For the record my rental car got scraped a bit centering in a space—good thing I added Super Cover insurance to the rental!)

Perfect location and a wonderful place to stay! The swimming pool and spa was just what was needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - we loved it.

We stayed in this hotel because nice abs convenient in the centre but we couldn’t sleep all night since very noisy. We unlucky had Neighbourg that from 8pm until 8am had activity sex all night (clearly a prostitution activity) with people coming in and out every hour having shower and shut the entry door. We raised a complain and as result we had a car park free but we lost our confidence in this hotel I’m afraid. Considering we were using it for business every month we don’t know if we will come back.

I loved the building's industrial vibe and the swimming pool at the top floor. However, I'm disappointed with two things. I decided to choose this property over another one in the city after calling and making sure with the reception staff that the steam sauna listed on the offer was working (I can't use the standard, dry sauna due to health reasons), only to uncover upon my arrival that it's currently closed. After discussing the issue with the staff at the hotel, I learned that it's been closed for quite a while now, so felt mislead. Also, I specifically ordered a room with a queen sized bed only to uncover that the bed is in fact two separate mattresses put together (and so, have a rather uncomfortable break in the middle).
