Well-located, very clean and friendly staff.

Pros: Really liked the quad room - perfect for our family of 4 and a good size.
Cons: Better instructions for parking!
Location: Walk to the centre of town/ old Orleans in 15 mins.
This hotel is very well-located to explore the centre area of Orleans. The parking can be a challenge, but the staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and recently renovated. Very comfortable overall.

Great service, cramped and tired room

Posted Sep 29, 2013 on Hotels
The staff at the hotel were very helpful and efficient - emailing ahead of our trip advising of timings for access. However, the room was cramped and in need of redecoration - it should really have been a single room. The bathroom was relatively new, but a bit spartan Although we didn't have the breakfast, I felt 9€ was a bit steep...The wi-fi was useful.Too expensive for what was offered.

Avoid if you can

Posted Jul 26, 2012
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: 15 mins from Place du Martois
The hotel is old and requires substantial updating. Everything is old, worn and needs updating. There is no air conditioning and the hall lights turn off automatically every few minutes, so you have to fumble your way in the dark. All the walls and floors are paper thin, and you hear every creek, crack, voice and door closing. The breakfast is disappointing as well, and not worth 8Euro. The only positive is the friendliness of the front-desk staff.

No parking

Posted Sep 1, 2011 on Hotels
Large room and bathroom, if somewhat jaded. Friendy and helpfull reception. Note that there is no hotel parking (though listing states that parking is available), and that all parking is street parking

clean and pleasant

Posted Aug 28, 2011 on Hotels
The hotel is in a convenient location. I was able to park on the street outside for two days. Breakfast is ample and good and can be eaten in a conservatory overlooking their pleasant garden. Rooms are very clean, with updated baths. Staff, except for one person, were very pleasant and helpful.

Okay, generic, hotel

Posted Apr 13, 2007
This was a plane, not very inspiring, but functional hotel. It was largely devoid of character, apart from the large Cedar tree in the small back garden. It's on a side street in Orlean, and an easy enough 10 minute walk from the centre. The staff were pleasant, and helpful, but the room was very basic, although large. Breakfast was pleasant, without being inspiring. A fine enough hotel if you don't intend to do much there other than sleep.
