The lodge was clean. The soaking tubs were clean and easy to access. They are indoor soaking tubs. You can pay for access to the outdoor pool that is ran by someone else. Nice and quiet. Rooms were clean. Rustic in nature.

Garbage can lid was broken and bears were getting into the garbage every night and spreading it every place. They had no record of our reservation--lucky i did, The main phone had been broken for several months according to the desk clerk. The whole place gave me the creeps. I would not stay there again. Staff tried to be helpful but they were limited in what they could do.

This lodge definitely looks better from the pictures than in person. Small room and outdated. There spring tubs were nice within the lodge but small. The hot springs next to the lodge wasn’t great at all! One outdoor pool that wasn’t heated only one small pool indoors. Took our children and it seemed like a more adult theme place then for a family outing. My suggestion would be to fine another hot springs if that is what you’re going for! Staff was great at the lodge! Also beware there is no cable or wifi in the rooms only in the lobby!

This was not a place to stay. The room accross from ours had the door kicked in and window broken out. We did not stay, unsafe. No security.

Good and not so good.
We love rustic, but the condition was much worse than the photos led us to believe. There were broken construction items strewn across the back of the property, paint peeling, dirty coffee pot. It needs a whole facelift.
On the good side, it was quiet, the folks were very friendly and the sheets were clean. Apparently, the high-end rooms are much better, but there’s a huge gap.

Staff was great, very friendly, room was very clean, bed was a too firm, but we managed. Pool is great. It's nice to get away from technology, no cell service, lodge has wifi in main area, but for the most part, unplugged, which was nice. Thank you, will stay again.

Got there, room mix up, not ready but quickly fixed by housekeeper/manager who seems to be always helping other staff. Maintenance guy quickly helped hubby with tv. Lady in cafe who was like manager frequently helping other staff also great. 2 wonderful clean soaking tubs really relax muscles. We then sat by the pond and watched the swallows being replaced by bats. Veeery relaxing. Good breakfast. No cel or wifi, yeah!

There is no wifi service at your room, if you have an emergency there is no cell service. Chipmunk in breakfast area is unsanitary. Front desk staff very helpful. Hot tub area was nice, water was very hot, only able to spend a half hour in them.

The front lodge entrance area was very nice. The two indoor hot pools were nice. Restaurant next door had great service. The room was rather tired and a little banged up. Didn’t care for the sink being next to the bed. But it all worked. Wi-Fi only in main lodge and restaurant. No cell service otherwise.

Although staff was helpful & kind...the property is in need a major facelift.
Breakfast was quite limited and the gravy was cold. Our bathroom was dirty and there were used glasses left in the room.

Customer service was very rude and not welcoming at all. Upon arriving, we were handed our key and told where to go and that's it. We were never told that there wasn't any TV or anything or that you needed DVD's to rent in order to watch tv. We had left and went into the City of LOLO to check things out, when we came back at 11:30 and figured out there was no TV, we went to go talk to the reception and they were closed and locked up. I've never seen a reception person leave. There should be someone there 24 hrs a day, just like any lodge or hotel you stay at.

Beautiful remote lodge. Our bed was subpar, but the rest made up for it. Quiet, secluded relaxing stay. The soaking tubs were amazing. No internet or cell service. A great getaway.

After 3 tries at the correct room we gave up and asked for a refund. First key did not open our room, but opened the room next door. Second key opened a room already occupied. Third key opened a room where you could not run the lights and air conditioner at the same time. We gave up and drove another 30 miles for a room. Disappointed to say the least.

I am sorry I was under the impression after our conversation over the phone this matter was resolved. We had provided keys to check in and we are terribly sorry you were unable to locate them. Upon your check in we did show where the keys were located along with the signage indicating that our lobby hours are 8am to 10pm and how to get the keys after hours. I am sorry for the miss understanding.
The Lodge is a beautiful log wood building. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The lobby and gathering spaces were also roomy with many conversation areas with games & reading materials readily available. They have a massive DVD collection to counter the lack of cell service in the rooms. However, WiFi is available in the lobby and gathering space.
The hot pools are indoor, very clean and modern, with lots of space for hanging robes, towels, etc. And of course, REALLY relaxing.

This property was adequate. The rooms were very small but clean. The restaurant and bar were close with decent food and drinks. The continental breakfast was lacking. Staff was nice and accommodating.

Probably not again.....
Hot Springs were inside, not cool. Bathroom sink in bedroom did not work. Only Wifi was in the lobby. No TV reception only dvd's if you wanted to watch something. Beds were clean and comfortable. Shower was OK. 241 bucks for a room with two queens...... kinda pricey for what they didn't offer.
