Clean motel in nice location but noisy plumbing

Posted May 8, 2017
Pros: Pros: Clean room, lots of TV channels, extra amenities (mini fridge, microwave, iron & board, coffee maker), enough parking, safe neighborhood.
Cons: Can hear loud, high-pitched squeaking noises when our or other rooms turn on shower. Housekeeping needs to be aware which rooms are occupied.
Location: Close to Medical Center. Restaurants and stores located within close driving distance.
After reading the reviews of this motel, I had higher expectations than what was actually experienced. The room itself was as described online, clean with additional amenities such as a mini fridge and microwave (huge plus),TV has a good amount of channels, including sports and movie channels. Although the parking lot looks tiny, there were sufficient spaces to park over the weekend. The hotel is in a good location in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The reason I would not stay here again is of the noisy plumbing. We could hear a loud, high-pitched squeaking noise whenever another room turned on their shower. Our room's shower also started squeaking for the first five minutes that it was turned on. We first noticed the noise while watching TV during the early evening hours--not a big deal then, but it became a huge deal when it woke me up in the 6am hour. Also, our room was on the first floor, and we could hear noises coming from the floor above. If you are a light sleeper like me, I would not recommend staying here. In addition, housekeeping knocked first on our door then on our window around 9:45am the day that we were supposed to check out--check out time is not until 11:00am. Housekeeping said they weren't sure if we were still in the room or not. From a customer service standpoint, housekeeping should communicate with the front desk to know which rooms are checked out or wait until after check out time. I would only stay here again if the motel fixed their noisy plumbing.

Clean hotel, staff not as accommodating

Posted Apr 25, 2017
We stayed at this hotel after all hotels near Coachella were booked we figured the one hour commute would be worth it given we'd have showers opposed to camping. Will not be staying here again although the rooms are excellent and clean but if you're looking to sleep in and get a late check out this isn't the place. We stayed for two nights and their check out us at 11 but we figured we'd do late check out like every other hotel offers. So they call at 11 and say it's time to check out or if we wanted to do late check out we opted for a late check out. Next thing we know 30 minutes later a big man is literally banging on our door, my boyfriend goes to open the door and the guy is extremely hostile and basically yelling at us to leave I thought he was going to fight my boyfriend because he had a nasty attitude and was not at all professional. Every other hotel the customer comes first and doesn't rush you to leave, we had no problem paying for a late check out. Also they have this weird painting of a little girl on a hospital bed at the check out that's really creepy. Not sure I would return, would rather pay the extra money and stay somewhere else.

very bad and dirty

Posted Apr 8, 2017
I booked two rooms for 10 nights for four adults given that there will be two beds in each room as sown on the website. when we arrived we found that the two rooms with one small bed, bad smell and dirty. The rate supposed to be $148.4, we arrived late and we had to spend the that night after we discussed the situation with the receptionist and advised him that we will check out next day. he understood the situation and told us that he will charge us for one night. surprisingly in the morning we the invoice for each room was $385 for the filthy room. The receptionist couldn't explain reason and advised us to call the general manager who was not available given the weekend, he gave us the manager's business to call him. We tried calling the manager several times with no success, we lift voice messages explaining our problem but he didn't bother himself to call back. So I had to call my bank to dispute the transactions processed by to credit car by this hotel. I advice you Expedia not deal with this hotel as it harm your credibility. Thank you

I had called to make sure to that I would get a room with a sofa bed. Once I arrived they had switched my room. I had to argue with the clerk. The sofa bed was not made. I called the clerk to ask for sheets and they told me to come down to the desk. Once I got there there was no clerk. I had to ring a bell to get someone to come out. When we showered we only got hot water. There was no cold water. The carpet in the room was disgusting. The breakfast that was advertised with the room was no where in sight. All we received was coffee. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Old, clean hotel

Posted Feb 26, 2017
The hotel is old fashioned but very clean and comfortable. Not to much road noise. Very close to Loma Linda University church and medical facilities.

Accommodations were clean, comfortable and close to the offices I was going to visit. A no frills hotel, which meets lodging needs; not a vacation stay type of place. I would definitely recommend this facility.

Convenient location for hospital visit.

Posted Feb 11, 2017
Pros: good location
Cons: not enough hot water at times. Needs better lighting.
Location: Hospital nearby but that's about it.
Decent. Functional. poor lighting by the ice machine and some exterior bulbs out around the rooms. It was definitely just okay, but a great location to visit my father while he was in the hospital.
