"As good as the pictures on VRBO are of this site, they don't quite capture the charming character of this house. And it is a house (the lower floor), an absolute classic from the late 1800s. Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed in all regards. Main living areas, kitchen, bathrooms - all excellent. The bedding is top notch (love those pillows). "We loved our stay! I held a retreat with my leadership team, and the house was perfect for our needs. It was very quiet and peaceful with a lovely backyard and great proximity to lots of local restaurants and amenities. The place was very clean and spacious and furnished very tastefully and comfortably. The beds were incredibly comfortable, so we all slept very well. Overall, we would gladly stay here again."

"This family trip works perfectly for our 12 family members. The location was great in old town and close to beach and other good places. We only wanted a mirror outside the bathroom so we do not have to wait for someone getting out of the bathroom just fto use the mirror. Otherwise everything was good."

"The apartment was exactly what we needed. All spaces were very clean and stocked with basic items. The beds and bedding were very comfy. The location is on a quiet street, but still close to what Logan Square has to offer. The owner, Cait, was available for questions and very welcoming! Highly recommend."

"This is an older home that has been renovated into a cute rental. The place was clean when we arrived. The rooms were just as described in the listing. The only bathroom is upstairs. The only concern I had was that the stairs were those older home steep stairs and there were no handrails. We had our older parents with us and them going up and down made me quite nervous. It is near the train tracks, as are many places in Wheaton, so you did hear the trains coming through frequently. "

"Flew into town with a large group for a bachelor party. Walked up to Wrigley for an afternoon game, easily took the train downtown and to/from ORD, had a lot of fun at the myriad bars and restaurants in the area. The host was very accommodating and gracious, I couldn't recommend this place any higher."
