Charming hotel near Hyde Park. The pluses: helpful, courteous staff, quiet neighborhood, beautiful rooms and building. Negatives: wonky plumbing (loud sink, not much gusto with toilets), half mile to the nearest tube stop. Overall it was lovely and beautiful!
Great public rooms, helpful staff and excellent breakfast. My only complaint is that the room was tiny (a consistent problem with many London hotels). From the moment we arrived till the moment we departed we were made feel very much at home. All staff were fantastic very friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely stay.

The receptionist was amazing, actually walking me through to the lift not just pointing where to go. But my room - a single - was pretty outdated decoration ...
