Hotel is ageing rapidly.

Posted Mar 8, 2017
Pros: Coffee machine, location close to the city, tube and amenities
Cons: it needs to be refreshed particularly the stairs and carpets
Location: Close to Sherlock Holmes Museum and close to public transport easy to find your way around
The Hotel is ageing rapidly.carpets in the hallways are disgusting, most doors are showing significant wear and tear. Bedroom and bathroom were very very small, however, linen appeared fresh and towels in good condition. The reception area was clean and tidy and staff friendly, the best part of the trip was the coffee machine downstairs, best I've seen.

Typical London hotel

Posted Jan 13, 2017
Chose hotel for location more than anything else. Typical London hotel, small rooms and a tad overpriced.

Cheap and convenient

Posted Dec 7, 2016 on Hotels
Clean and tidy room with a decent en suite bathroom, plenty of hot water and a good selection of toiletries. However, the carpets across the hotel are frankly filthy and very old. The corridors and doors to the rooms are in dire need of some fresh paint, some deep cleaning and some new carpets. Breakfast was nothing amazing, largely a selection of cereals, toast and some defrosted croissants with the usual accompaniments of cheese, cold meats and some fruit. Decent coffee though! 5min walk to Baker Street tube so location was excellent. Wifi was very spotty and dropped repeatedly, but was fast on the occasions it connected for more than 5 minutes at a time.

Nice hotel, excellent location and great breakfast

Posted Dec 5, 2016 on Hotels
This is simply a nice hotel, at a great location in the center of Odense with a great breakfast. By the furnitures and decorations inside you can see that it's not a new hotel. But it is in super condition and it is a nice place to stay. I can highly recommend the hotel!

Central, convenient and clean!

Convenient friendly hotel in a central location. A touch retro in décor but absolutely no reason not to like. Room included continental breakfast which was a good standard

Nice hotel very central

Posted Nov 21, 2016 on Lastminute
Pros: as above
Cons: Nothing much - except a few hooks in room to hang coats etc on would be great. For a budget hotel the facilities are very adequate.
Location: as above, handy to museums and British library. Also Regents Park and zoo.
As above, friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast. Reasonable sized room (by London standards) and excellent breakfast. Great shower, plenty of hot water and good pressure. Room very clean and good towels. Hotel in a very central location equal distance to Baker St and Marylebone stations. The street is fairly quiet.
