Dear GuestThank you for your recent stay with us.We were surprised to read your review as we upgraded you to a big family room for all three nights at the dame cheap rate of GBP 59.00 per night for a double room for two persons.Although the reservation was non-refundable and there was no any genuine issue during your stay with us and you did not even mention anything, you tied to get the reservation cancelled free of charge. Extremely friendly staff, very helpful with check-in and if I needed anything. The hotel itself is not quiet, it is in an older building. Don't let this deter you if you're looking for a cheaper place to stay. As a traveler I am rarely in my hotel, and it only becomes impactful if others are staying up late. Most people understand a knock on the wall means someone is trying to sleep. Would stay again.

Exactly what I needed for the price. Was in a single on the top floor with shared bathroom and shower. The room was impeccably clean, no issue with that at all. Kettle & television worked. 2 blocks from Paddington station. Will stay again if I ever just need the cheapest possible place to sleep in London for the night.

The Pitz not the Ritz
When we first arrived we were given a room right at the front. This was right next to the front door so we didn't get any sleep with the buzzer going off through the night and the door continuously being slammed...at 4.20 am this was still going on. We asked to be moved and were given a room in the basement, it had a terrible damp smell and the condition was very poor . On a good note the beds were comfortable even though the bedding was ripped.

A 5min caminando de la estacion paddington, hay varios lugares para comer muy cerca, definitivamente buena ubicación. Limpieza todos los dias. Lo único que no hay elevador y en mi caso me tocó subir con maleta hasta el 4to piso pero en general es buena opcion para hospedarse

Booked for 3 Nights Bad Points - We were woken up after day 1 by a cleaner, then a manager who told us to change rooms. - no explanation and gave us 30 mins to do it. - Rooms were dirty, layers of dust around the bed and the windows were filthy! - Missing tea & coffee in both rooms but had the kettle. - Parts of the Celing were lose in the second room? - Not many plug outputs in either room - Constant banging from both upstairs & downstairs. Good It was cheap Front door Entry Key card was good for 24/7 access Things to note Large amount of stairs that would make access very difficult if you struggle with access issues. There are better options available for the money

Turned we had clean kitchen sink at first as was still dirty the shower had mould and damp on sealing and at night you can hear doors slamming very often not very well placed room next to reception and door The beds were ok but not the comfiest does the job the staff were nice enough though probably get a new remote rather than putting tape on back Dont think we will be staying again

Well located, clean and functional.
Pleasant stay in this cheap and well located hotel. A few minutes walk from Hyde Park and Paddington Station, it's in an ideal spot. Rooms were clean and what you'd expect at this price point. Corridors and stairways are somewhat cramped making it difficult if you have big heavy luggage, but otherwise no complaints at all. I'd happily return.

Brilliant cheap stay at London. Has everything you get in a hotel room, towels, shampoo, TV, kettle etc but at half the price. Interior is outdated but the facilities were not, the bathroom was separate from the room but is clearly stated when booking that being I didn't see anybody during my stay. Perfect for a single traveller, the only downside was twice in two days my card would not let me into my room which meant I had to unnecessarily walk up and down 6 flights of stairs twice so maybe need a better system for that.

Place to stay for the night.
This was a great place to stay, super close to the Paddington Station. Nice neighborhood. Hotel was clean and the staff was polite. We were just there one night before we headed home.

The property itself is only 2 blocks from the Paddington train station so it is so convenient. The hotel did allow us to leave our bags there hours before check in and they did the same after check out. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend this place for the summer or during any heat. There is no AC and they give you 1 fan which does nothing. The sink and the shower is also very tiny and every time you turn the curtain opens, making it impossible to keep water off the floor. They also have no elevator with 4-5 floors, and they only have 1 key card for each room which was difficult for my friends with me who wanted to come and go at different times. This place is good for what you pay for and if it was during the winter I wouldn’t hesitate for the price as long as it’s only a night or two.

Very tired place. Staff very young with no customer service skills. Most people I talked to including me had no towels in our room. No apologies at reception when brought up.

What we did like was location and staff. what we did not like was cleanliness, condition of room- head board, plug sockets, lack of ironing board and broken shower. we sadly won't be returning due to the condition of the property.

I was expecting much for the price I paid, but the room was advertised as bed and breakfast, there wasn't any breakfast available, the chap that checked us in was pleasant enough, the room was clean apart from a big stain on the ceiling, the electric cables look very suspect, seemed to have wallpaper over them in an attempt to make them look tidy, wires hanging from the TV and standing fan, bed was very creaky and the noise from the road was crazy loud from 6am

The guy with glasses who worked on reception (Mr Smiley) absolutely lovely. The room was a little tired and dated. I am not a fan of shower curtains. They stick to you when showering. The location and price were spot on. All in all, a very good stay. I would recommend - 8/10 Thank you

Very comfy bed. Modern and clean bathroom. The shower was a bit difficult to get in and out of because the opening was narrow and we are average sized. The information pack was the best we have ever seen. The pruce was exceptionally good for London. There were no breakfast facilities but there were plenty of places to eat within a few yards.

We would definitely stay here again - we did love the place and it was exactly what we wanted. We were on the top floor (walkup - 76 steps but quaint). The room itself was small but enough for 2 twin beds and space to walk around - we have been in smaller. The bathroom was tiny but the shower mechanism was one of the best we have ever seen in a hotel room. And the location, just north of Hyde Park, meant we walked more than we took the tube (warning - we like to walk).
