lovely hotel, in a very quiet area. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Not for those that are expecting a completely modern hotel. The lift is slow and small and we were fine with that. The rooms are a little tired and the bathrooms need attention, but again we were fine with what we experienced and would stay again.

There is no fridge in the room or tea of coffee machine, and you hear everything the building is not isolated enough, the location is good next to harrods but is not worth the money.

Front desk night employee was not professional. Had to change room because the bed was broken, he vame in and try to solve it flopping the mattress. After changing my room , second room heating was not working properly and bathroom was as cold as outside.

I like this hotel, it is private, it is a little tired in places but we dont mind, it is quiet, the staff very pleasant, very easy to get to and positioned so it is walkabale to Chelsea, Kensington and Green Park. I like the fact that you are having Harrods next door, but super quiet upon exiting the hotel as it is in a cul de sac. If you need a hairdresser I can recommend Jo Hansford at Harvey Nicols. Will definitely be back.

Property is in an excellent location and albeit room was a bit tired and needed updated , room was located on 1st floor and we had a small balcony which was good, not much light comes into rooms since there are some rather large trees in the road but other than that we had no issues

UGH!
This hotel is in an old building, small rooms, ancient decrepit elevator that barely fit my wife and I and one bag, (we had 5). Our room was on the 5th floor, and the elevator only goes to the 4th. The room upon entering was stiflingly hot! The AC unit smelled damp and musty, and could barely cool the room. For the price, I would definitely choose another location next time

Excellent staff and attention to customer satisfaction. But there is not a bar - it’s a fridge at reception. Old fashioned lift - small and scary, and my biggest concern was the fire safety - no maps of escape routes and the fire doors did not close tightly. I was on the 5th floor - no fire escape. So, I wouldn’t stay again, but with care and attention to detail and fixing things that don’t work it would be an excellent place to stay. I was shocked though at the price for the current quality of the accommodation.

Dear AlexandraThank you for your feedback We are very happy that you find our staff excellent We don't have a bar at the Beaufort, we are located in the heart of Knightsbridge however there are lots of great bars in the area within walking distance. The hotel have a fire escapes throughout the entire building, including the 5th floor.With reference to the stairs and lift - part of The Beaufort’s unique charm is it layout. Our hotel comes with it own set of challenges not least when we aim to preserve and protect the heritage of the buildings without compromising guest comfort and convenience. I am sorry you find our lift too small ans scary for your likingOn value, we are once again very surprised with your feedback as we complimentary upgraded your room from a single to Deluxe room , additionally our rates include afternoon tea , unlimited mineral water and soft drinks. Our prices are very competitive in the Knightsbridge area.Once again thank you for your comments. We appreciate your observations .Kind Regards

Property close to Harrods but far away from most other things to see in London. No amenities. Supposed to be scones but we never saw them. We were in the basement with no lift and several heavy bags.

One of the cheaper options (still not that cheap but it’s London!) for a last minute booking in a convenient location. Pros: location, clean bathroom, 24 hour concierge. Cons: mice/rat issue (could hear scratching and crawling at night, I’m hopeful it was in roof/wall rather than room itself!), wifi did not work in room (when I enquired the staff were confused as to why this would be the case and offered no resolution), my particular room did not have lift access, and carpet was stained, a little off putting and thus could do with a redo Overall, it did the job for a couple of nights but I wouldn’t stay again.

Our bathroom was not clean. My wife had to clean multiple black hairs off the floor. The next day we asked for the room to be cleaned and it was not. They said we must have put a do not disturb sign on the door, which we did not do. And now it was too late! The stairs were never cleaned. There was the same skittle on the carpet for the whole 6 days we were there. We have stayed here before both times for a week and it use to be very nice. Unfortunately, it is not being maintained.

Great location just round the corner from Harrods. Great rooms we had a junior suite which was very comfortable, large and stylishly decorated. But for that money and room size would have expected a fridge. Also coffee and tea were provided free of charge from reception, but no facilities in the room, which tends to be fairly standard for hires these days.

old building, damp and moldy floor, sofa, bathroom.(etc... everything moldy) The whole room as well as the bathroom has an extreme moldy smell. I cough on the first night. The shower sometimes not working properly. No elevator. only a tiny, dirty and moldy floor for access the room, room number was not clearly state. Huge construction noise from the window, worse in the evening, as there will be more noise from different sources, such as car, people screaming.... The only good is staff was friendly. But still, can't believe it is a 4 star.
