Nice Hotel to stay in London

Location: Close to paddington area with amazing indian food and souvenir shops. The paddington station pretty much can connect you anywhere you want to go.
Hello, Hope this review helps your accommodations in your future stay in London. The hotel was not bad. A couple pros and cons. I almost never fill these out but this time I felt like I had too. -The rooms were extremely small, especially if you overpacked for a long stay in London/Europe. There was barely any room for our luggage. -The breakfast was AMAZING. I loved it and the chef was such a darling. Make sure you sign in before you go in because if not the waitresses will be upset and in a mood with you. -Bathrooms were new and very clean. -Front Staff wasn't so friendly I can't lie. We were treated as if we were lesser than them or beneath. Basically like if we were ignorant travelers -Maid made us kissing swans for Valentine's day and I thought it was such a sweet gesture !

Nice and quiet hotel with friendly staff

Hotel is nicely located next to HydePark. Room was on the small side, but nicely equipped and decorated. There are lots of neighborhood restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby. Great library of books in the reception.

Wonderful hotel

Loved it. The walls are a little thin and I could hear a lot of the neighbours or hallway noise, but I expect that with old buildings.

Stay for winter wonderland

Clean hotel. Close to park and tube station.

Quiet,Clean hotel close to park and tube station. Both within 10 minutes walk. Staff welcoming. Stayed in suite room. Nice with duplex arrangement of bed upstairs and sitting room and shower downstairs. Breakfast buffet good selection.

Soundproofing needed

We could hear the guy in the next room snoring. It literally sounded like he was in our room. We had a corner room with doors right next to each other, which could have been the reason. Speakers on TV were shot. Room was good size and it was great location. Breakfast was excellent.

Nice hotel close to Hyde Park

This hotel has obviously undergone extensive refurbishment recently and looks the part. All staff I spoke to were helpful and friendly. The breakfast room is small but the staff work so hard to ensure that everyone enjoys their breakfast. My room was compact but clean. I would recommend this hotel, however there's a few things that might help a traveller decide if it's suitable for them: the hairdryer in my room was fixed inside the wardrobe and it's one of those were you have to hold a button for power, not ideal if you're already squashed into the smallest space to dry your hair; the lighting for the room was a little odd, in order to light up the wardrobe area I had to turn the bathroom lights on; my room was next to one of the two lifts which meant I had to go and buy earplugs in order to sleep; there was a step to get into the bathroom which was an up and over as the floor level on either side was lower than the step; finally in order to use the mirror in the bathroom I had to kneel on the toilet, not the best idea when doing your make up. As I said I'd recommend the hotel but wouldn't stay there myself again due to the above.

Lower ground room, no light, too small room.

Location: Location is good. It is very close to the Hyde Park, hence there are many things to do such as galleries, musiums, walking in the park, shopping, etc.
I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. It is very close to the Hyde Park, but room is too small, no light and not very tidy.

Nice hotel walking distance to Paddington Station

Nice hotel on Hyde Park walking distance to Paddington Station. Also within a block of two great pubs (The Mitre and The Swan). Room was clean and comfortable, nice bar in the hotel for a nightcap. Also had a great breakfast buffet, the best breakfast we had in two weeks of traveling around England and Ireland.
