Central London Hotel. Great location to amenities.

Posted Jun 24, 2017
Great hotel close to all amenities. Staff very friendly. Be prepared for tiny rooms and beds. Happy hour every evening. Reasonable drinks. Breakfasts were huge and delicious. The rooms were really tiny and only double bed. We had free wifi and feel we got our monies worth. We forgot to add breakfast when we booked so don't forget to do that. I think it would be cheaper to book it first. Only a block from restaurants, underground, buses stopped out front. 10-15 minute walk to Hyde park and other sight seeing. We did a lot of walking. The best way to sight see unless it's too far. But great transportation all around. This is located in central London so very busy but you can people watch too.

Great staff - great location. Parking is tricky, but expected for that part of the city. A really good value!

Very convenient small hotel

Posted May 31, 2017
Pros: Cosy, comfortable and clean, position was a big plus.
Cons: Layout - better signage to find things. We found the breakfast room and could see it through a locked door and had to go all way round.
Location: Great location, tube round corner, V&A and Natural History Museum up road - Royal Albert Hall within walking distance, great location.
We were going to the Royal Albert Hall and stayed two nights in a twin room - beds were comfy and clean - room and bathroom were spotless. There are stairs and lifts everywhere and so the layout is confusing. Finding the breakfast room was difficult - better signage needed. Staff were pleasant and the position of the hotel was just around the corner from the tube and a short walk from Hyde Park and the V & A.

Easy hotel to use

Posted May 26, 2017
Pros: It was adequate for our needs, being close to restaurants, tubes, buses and easy to find. Everything was spotlessly clean.
Cons: I was surprised that at a Best Western hotel that we were not shown our room, just told where it was. At others there is usually a porter as well.
Location: It was adequate for our needs, being close to restaurants, tubes, buses and easy to find.
Friendly staff. I was surprised that at a Best Western hotel that we were not shown our room, just told where it was. At others there is usually a porter as well. The room was severely cramped, probably the corridor was included to make the basic minimum room size. However, I would recommend the hotel to others. It was adequate for our needs, being close to restaurants, tubes, buses and easy to find. Everything was spotlessly clean.

Great Location but noisy.

Posted May 25, 2017
Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: More attention to details as listed above. The lift shaft groans as it passes the second floor!
Location: Handy for the Albert Hall, Tube station, museums and lots of eateries nearby.
We enjoyed our three night stay in the larger and more expensive 'Superior' rooms, but feel they need to pay more attention to detail. We had two rooms during our stay (as we asked to be moved from the ground floor because of the road noise). and some small items were not working or faulty: ie Shaver point, bedside lights, missing bath plug, grubby carpets etc. The biggest problem is the traffic noise. Most of the rooms are at the front, facing the Cromwell Road. It is manic. You cannot open the windows (nor would you want to) so have to rely on the air/con to keep the room relatively cool, but it is noisy. The staff were very obliging throughout and cheerfully moved our luggage, found bath plugs and teabags. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and attentive service. Overall a good hotel, but some extra sound proofing would work wonders.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. On expedia this hotel was a 4 star rated but in reality this is a one star hotel. The room was extremly dirty. The light switch in the bathroom was not working. There was mold everywhere and the carpet had big black stairs. I wanted to get a refund but the staff was rude and told me that nothing can be done vecause I booked via Expedia. We left the hotel and booked another one.

Great location, inexpensive, clean & friendly

Posted May 14, 2017
Pros: The price was reasonable and the location cannot be beat for touring London!
Cons: Larger, newer and less expensive would be nice. However, I have stayed in smaller rooms for twice the price in London! This hotel is a deal!
Location: This hotel is close to the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Science Museum, the Museum of Natural History, Kensington Palace & the Gloucester Road stop.
This hotel is excellent for the price! My room was small, clean, practical and the location was wonderful for getting around to museums, historical sites and for using the underground. A bus stop is right outside the door! It is a gem!

Lovely Hotel

Posted May 12, 2017
Pros: Cleanliness, location, staff
Cons: Nothing
Location: Tube station, restaurants, shop to purchase SIM card for phone
Check in was quick. We arrived early8:30AM after a long flight and our room was available. It watery clean with a nice bathroom. The hotel is in a great location near a Tube station and a restaurant right across the street. The breakfast in the hotel cost twice as much. The desk clerk kindly held our luggage until later in the day when we were leaving. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Cromwell Hotel

Posted Apr 24, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Cheaper prices always help.
Location: 10 minutes from Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park, 5 Minutes from Natural History Museum.
Excellent location for the reason of our stay a night out at the Royal Albert Hall. Clean but small room with satisfactory service.
