Conveniently Located

A short walk to the tube and London was all within our reach. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The kitchenette was wonderful for light breakfast and late snacks to save a little money and have some down time.

Value for money

I will definitely use again, excellent value for money, great location , easy access, staff very helpful. Rooms excellent standard. What more do you need.

hotel was walking distance from the wedding venue

Pros: .The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very accommodating and clean.
Cons: There was no breakfast available, for which for the amount we paid for just 1 night, I feel should have been included in the price. Also no parking
We enjoyed our stay, clean, fresh and comfy. We were able to check in early, due to the wedding being before check in time, which was very handy to freshen up and change

Sleep cheap in a good location

The staff is very friendly. Room is small, TV doesn't have many channels, and linen service is weekly, but the room was perfectly adequate for our needs. The Barbican is an interesting area with plenty of shopping, restaurants, and museums nearby, with infinite fascinating walks in virtually every direction. Don't come expecting resort services, but this hotel is all it promises to be.

Great hotel with self catering

Newly refurbished. Very comfortable and plenty of room. 5 min walk to Barbican underground.

Building works - no room available

I specifically booked this hotel because it is located near my office. The booking was made several months in advance. I reached the hotel at 1700, ready to check in, change and go to my businesses end of year presentations and Christmas party. On arrival, I was told that half the hotel was being refurbished, which included my room, and that I needed to take a taxi to a sister hotel 10 minutes away. The taxi was to be paid for by the hotel, but there was a 40 minute wait. As I had no spare time to wait, I complained and was given a room. I assume another guest would have been moved to the sister hotel in my place, and subsequently inconvenienced. Whilst the issue was resolved after 15 minutes waiting in the lobby, I thought this was a rather shabby way to treat guests.

nice weekend stay

Was relatively close to the central, surrounded by many food places and pubs. Very nice stay and would reccomend to a friend.
