Outstanding hotel @ Central

My hub & I stayed in a Studio for 4 nights, everything was good, clean & quiet room facing back of the street, bout 5-8mins walks to Gloucester underground, few supermarkets nearby (tesco express /waitrose /sainsbury) as well as coffee shops & restaurants. About 15 mins walk to museums. Will definitely stay here again.

Liked the location especially for tge museum. The staff were extremely helpfull, the room was exactly as advertised & the next day snack box was a nice touch for those on the move. Will stay here again.

Very disappointing

Very disappointed and I would not stay here again. The pictures of the room on web are misleading as they show studio, deluxe or apartment on all and the description is the same on each too. I have stayed in many apartment style rooms with other companies and this was by far no where near the level expected. The sofa was nothing more than a bench/plank on two support, with a cushioned top 1 foot wide with 6 ins to the bed. You could not use it for anything except a bag rack. No dressing table for the wife, it was a desk no where near mirror. The mirror plug did not work (reported 3 times to 3 staff and then to maintenance man and all could not coordinate the correct issue). No toiletries in bathroom as such and overall room was very basic less than some 2/3 * others. Not worth the cost and when reporting disappointment, the staff member seemed to smirk on the descriptions I used and then said all studios were the same with "a bench as you put it" in them. Discourteous behaviour. Nothing he could do unless I paid an excess to upgrade to deluxe. Never again would I stay or recommend this hotel. I stay in hotels in London every week for work by the way so this is not a one off visit.

Good location near bus stops n train station.

TV program poor. Don't have CNN or CNBC News. Hotel Wifi not powerful enough Water shower not strong enough However services n staffs attitude very helpful n courteous.

Convenient and pleasant hotel

Overall I like this hotel. It has nice rooms with kitchenette and the staff are professional and friendly. But this time I don't think my room had been cleaned properly before I arrived..the floor tiles were a bit grubby and there was a musty smell. But I could open the window this time and I was allowed a very early check in, which was a real bonus after such a long flight to London. The hotel is located very centrally in a pleasant area closer to the tube and museums. And I was able to get a good price.

Great location and obliging staff

I enjoyed my stay. The room was pleasant, I got a very good price deal and the staff were very friendly, especially Michele, who put up with me speaking Italian to him. The hotel is centrally located in a pleasant area. The only down side was a dog occasionally barking in the next room and my window did not open. I need fresh air. But the blanket I requested was brought to me and I was allowed a very early check in, which was wonderful after a 24 hour trip from Australia.
