"The bed was absolutely horrible. The mattress should have been changed some time ago. There was a big sag in the mattress. I expected a lot more from the hotel given the high cost of the room. One of the employees acted as if we were trespassing and followed us around...not sure why. The woman who checked us in at the front reception was excellent - which is why the hotel rating is not lower."

"When making the reservation, it stated "breakfast included" however, it did not appear on my itinerary. I contacted Expedia who were unable to resolve the matter. It took over 24 hours to get the remote control for the TV. Most of the employees were very helpful, there was one worker who seemed uninterested and came across as being rude. Beyond that encounter, the room was very well presented. The "bespoke" iron furniture was lovely and sturdy."

"Unfortunately my room had inadequate facilities (a wardrobe that didn’t allow for full-length storage of my garments) but the staff downstairs put it right and moved me to a better room. The breakfast the following day was wonderful and all-in-all, a lovely stay. Would definitely return:"

"4 night stay was excellent. Overall the staff was super friendly and helpful and breakfast staff was hardworking and efficient. Breakfast choices were plentiful and really good and healthy. Loved the cappuccino machine and fresh pastries too. Hotel was quiet at night and bed was comfortable. Room felt a bit cramped and not enough bathroom hooks to hang wet towels. The only negative is the hotel’s location-although it felt safe and was nice and quiet- is a bit far from the nearest tube stop Pimilco and walking to Parliament area is approximately 14-15 minutes away. There are plenty of busstops nearby and we chose this option often, plus it was cheaper than the tube. If you want hustle and bustle then this hotel location is not it. I would recommend this hotel highly if you want clean, quiet, fantastic breakfast, super staff, and safe area and don’t mind walking."
