top location für ein Shoppingtrip.Posted Sep 20, 2015

Lovely one night stay at DurrantsPosted Aug 29, 2015
I've lived in Marylebone my whole life and have never so much as been into Durrants nor known anyone who's stayed there but have always wondered as it has always looked so charming. The night before my wedding I needed somewhere to stay locally and finally had the chance to book myself in and I can't begin to say what a lovely experience it was. Firstly, location wise, it doesn't get any better. Walk out the front door and you're at the back of the Wallace Collection Museum. Turn left and you're on Marylebone High Street and just a 2 minute walk to Selfridges. My room was cosy, quaint, clean, cool and a very pleasant place to be for the night. Not to mention very good value for central London! I wouldn't hesitate to stay again in the future or recommend someone else to.

Excellent location Traditional hotelPosted Aug 13, 2015
Pros: Location and traditional hotel setting
Cons: A/C and WiFi
Location: Just behind Selfridges and just off Oxford Street in a quiet area. Nice restaurants, cafes and bars around the corner
A traditional hotel probably situated in the best location in London. Many of the rooms in need of renovation. Pleasant reception areas /bars /restaurants. WiFi throughout the hotel is 'hit or miss' with extremely slow speeds - most sites don't load because of the connection speed. Central aircondition usually doesn't work.

Lovely hotel in lovely neighborhoodPosted Jun 25, 2015
Durrants is a lovely, small hotel with a lot of British charm. The building itself is beautiful and rooms are well furnished. Staff is courteous, hotel is very quiet, as is the street. Lots of cafes and shops nearby, and close to several tube lines. Only complaint is that the wifi access in the rooms was sometimes inconsistent, but there is a lobby and lounge with strong wifi and ample comfortable seating.

Solo stay in LondonPosted Jun 24, 2015 on Hotels
It's a lovely hotel in a great location, conveniently near Oxford street and underground. The staff are lovely, the Restuarent is beautiful and cosy, service is first class. The only criticism I would have is that there is no coffee/tea in room therefore you have to call up for everything. My room was a bit small, but it was just me.
