Charming, warm and perfectly locatedPosted Nov 13, 2015
Pros: The staff were very nice and responsive. It's on a quiet street and the bed was quite comfortable. I also appreciate that the windows open.
Cons: I was often perplexed by the power switches. There are many and I never quite figured out how they worked. Some instructions would help.
Location: Really enjoyed the quick access to transport, Patisserie Valerie & Spaghetti House on Sicilian Avenue, and ice cream in Russell Park.
I was mixing two frantic days of meeting with two days of fun. It required that I be able to get around the city easily and economically. The hotel located between Russell and Bloomsbury Squares offers quick bus, tube or taxi transport. From the minute I arrived 2 hours before check in, the staff was very kind and accommodating. My room was ready within an hour. The hotel quickly felt like home and although I was in a small room (not unusual for Europe), everything I needed was right at hand. The only snafu was on Sunday morning when I was departing. I was told to pick up the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow at Russell Station which was only a 10 minute walk, but it is closed on Sundays which I would have expected the staff to know. I simply flagged a taxi and went to Holborn. Luckily, I'd left plenty of time. I did not eat at the hotel, but the 24 hour service is a nice amenity. I would definitely return, but would get the next room category up if with my husband.

Large quality family room, comfortable, cleanPosted Oct 27, 2015
Super comfy beds with loads of pillows for extra comfort. Family room with a side seating area and we could all spread out but stay together. Professional staff, quiet hotel, near to Russell and Holborn tube links.

Very nice. Great location in LondonPosted Oct 21, 2015
Cons: Price of breakfast seemed high. We ate at cafes nearby for half the price.
Location: Great location for British Museum and other attractions in Bloomsbury. Close to Underground also.
Very pleasant stay. Room was large and well appointed. Staff was helpful. Great location in Bloomsbury. Quiet street.

Quiet hotel, convenient location, well pricedPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, the quality, the staff, thoughtful touches.
Cons: Not having the tea service and kettle confined to the wardrobe - we thought this was very odd! Minor though; I'm being picky.
Location: It's possible to walk to Covent Garden, definitely to Euston, nearby convenience shops and cashpoint. Not too difficult to get taxis .
My wife and I stayed here for the first time and were given a lovely sized, quiet room, overlooking the gardens at the back of the hotel. We paid extra for an executive room, for the king size bed and the extra space. This was well worth it in my opinion. The hotel was quiet, convenient (less than a mile from Covent Garden and close to Euston), very well appointed with polite, helpful staff and a nice atmosphere. Not too poncy, as I've found with 5 star hotels, but nice enough to feel that you're getting what you paid for. Given that we paid £166 through Expedia, I'd say it was worth this money and I've stayed in a few London hotels, 4 and 5 star, priced more than this. I would definitely stay here again but I would like to try St Ermin's next time I think.

Super Lage, Zimmer okPosted Sep 22, 2015

Conveniently located to places I wanted to visitPosted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Lower the cost of full English breakfast. I did not eat any breakfasts there because of the expense. Many other places nearby reasonably priced.
Location: I answered that above.
This hotel is in an excellent location for visiting The British Museum, West End, Covent Garden, and other places of interest in the Bloomsbury, Holborn areas. It is close to 3 Tube stations.

The Grange Beauchamp is in a terrific location - a few minutes to the Russell Square Tube and the British Museum - and manageable walking distance to theatres and Euston Station. The rooms are small and very clean - and the staff was very accommodating.

Good locationPosted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good location.
Cons: Hair dryer back to bath room. Temperature thermostat should be more user friendly.
Location: British museum, restaurants, shopping.
Very good location, close to two underground lines (Piccadilly line can go to Heathrow airport direct, and Central lines, all about 5 mins walk), major train stations (St. Pancras for EuroStar, King's Cross, Euston, all about 20 mins walk), British Museum (3 mins walk), and bus 98 right at front to go to Oxford and Bond St shopping areas. Hotel room was fine, just found the shower and tub can be issue (small and slippery, and hard to turn on the water). Hair dryer is in the desk drawer, not very user friendly. Ask for room not in basement, small, tight and dark.

London Hotel Near Russell SquarePosted Sep 11, 2015
Pros: The hotel staff was very accommodating and the location is excellent.
Location: Great location near Russell Square Tube, British Museum, moderately priced restaurants, groceries, walking distance (15 - 20 min.) to theaters.
We stayed twice - at the beginning and end of our England trip. Our first room was exceedingly small and the shower/bath had very little water pressure but maintenance improved the situation somewhat for us the next day. The room the second time had a better layout and was a little bigger and the bath and shower worked fine. The best part of this hotel is it's terrific location. We did not use the restaurant because the prices were quite high.

Nice hotel, great locationPosted Aug 27, 2015
Cons: In house restaurant
Location: British Museum, Covent Markets, Trafalgar Square and restaurants.
The location of the hotel was fantastic - walking distance to major attractions, alternate transport and cafes/restaurants. The staff were efficient and able to assist us with enquires very quickly the only point I would make is that when you arrive late and tired do not order room service the food was average and so was breakfast.
