A good type b&b although breakfast way over priced.

Cons: The room was a bit too hot, too heated, and in general the basement.
The hotel is cosy and very well located near Russell Square. The executive room is big and very nice.

Location of room on lower ground made unpleasant stay due to noise levels from 5am in morning
A great little place to stay!Posted Mar 22, 2016 on Hotels
We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely use this hotel again. It was just a shame we couldn't stay longer!

Pros: convenient location
Cons: Bath very tall sides, difficult to get in and out of even for a non-disabled person. Breakfast prices outrageously expensive went to a café instead
Location: Nice food pub up back lane (north side) across Russell Square - Friend At Hand - Hebrand St. Café - Freestate Coffee, walk south = 21 Southampton Row.
was OK. Lift was out of order at one point but stairs easy to find and shallow risers so easy to use. Nice little coffee/tea cabinet. Heating was on max so had to turn down radiators and open window, bath silly - very high sides = dangerous to use even for able-bodied person. Quiet rooms, quiet street at night. Pleasant staff. Breakfast prices prohibitive. Bar not worth it being there. Corridors a bit of a labyrinth Lift needs illuminated sign on each floor to find it.
