Great spot for the pricePosted Oct 20, 2015
Location: Russell Square, University of London
Simple accommodations, with shared bathrooms, but the location (and price for location) cannot be beat!

Good valuePosted Oct 18, 2015
Friendly and efficient staff, enormous room (we didn't mind that it was in the basement). The room was actually in a sister hotel over the road, but it was better than the room we had booked. We thought the location very handy - we were able to stroll to the Royal Opera House in a little over 15 minutes. Breakfast not included and quite pricey so we found a cafe instead.

Toilet was unattached but the shower in the room was nice. Inexpensive and good location near soho.

Nice basic hotelPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Traditioneel Engels, nette kamers

Posted Sep 24, 2015

Staff where friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to the Thames, Covent Garden and oxford st. Not to mention so close to the tube and Euston station. The hotel lacked some basics, such as a lift to the top floor, air conditioning, fan, cold tap water and it had terrible tv reception.

Goed hotel for the price and locationPosted Aug 26, 2015 on Hotels
It is very near to the Britisch museum, there are bus stops and shops near by. The place is very quiet and there are no noise in the street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For the price it was very good. The food (only breakfast) was very good (not included in the price). The less comfortable thing is that the WC is outside the room and we could not see a lift, but that was no problem (we still could get up the stairs).

The location was perfect. We were one block away from the British Museum. One block in the other direction there were tons of restaurants and some basic shops. We were a few minutes walk to the Holborn tube station so we were easily able to get around to The Tower of London, Saint Pauls Cathedral, Picadilly Circus, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Heathrow Airport, etc. Very easy to get around the location was the best part of this hotel. The hotel itself was nice but nothing fancy. There is a sink and shower in the room but shared toilets which we knew about when I booked it. The shared toilet wasn't an issue, we never ran into any other guests and it was right by our room. The floors of the entire hotel were uneven and all over the place so that was a little weird. The front desk staff were very nice and the front desk is open 24 hours which was nice since we arrived very late. There was no air conditioning in our room and it wasn't super hot outside when we were there but still found our room to be too warm. Free Wifi. Overall it wasn't as nice as the hotels we stayed at in Prague and Krakow but London is quite a bit more expensive so you are getting what you pay for and it was ok.
