Hotel d'affari accanto a St.Paul cathedralPosted Nov 23, 2015

Large hotel close to many attractions.Posted Nov 10, 2015
Well positioned, mainly friendly staff but some a little surly. Room upgraded although lighting poor and cushions on the bed stained, yuk! Small intimate restaurant food & service excellent. Breakfast something of a zoo with tables too close & people milling about every where, although staff willing n working hard. Fire alarm at 3am did not enhance the stay. Overall a good experience but could be better.

Noisy, busy pool and breakfast too late.Posted Nov 2, 2015
Pros: Nice nachos. High thread count bed linen and big big bed for hefty, snoring couple.
Cons: If someone rings up to book breakfast don't tell them it will take 30 mins if it will take 45 mins and they have a train to catch!
Location: Stare in wonder at St Paul's. Have a lovely cream tea in the museum of London. Explore the many beautiful and historic City of London churches.
Booked this hotel for location near to City, for access to spa and because were offering traditional English breakfast. The pool was pleasant but weirdly busy - including a hen party and numerous kids who were running around and generally larking about as kids will of course but thought we would skip that kind of thing in a City/business hotel. Also, no treatments were available which made me sad - yes I know I should have booked. We didn't book the gorgeous Rookery because they don't do breakfast - as it happened neither did the Grange. We booked breakfast and as we waited 45 mins for it to come up from the kitchen we had to check out on empty stomachs. On the second time I rang to chase our breakfast, the room service person apologised saying they were very busy - fancy that, people in a hotel all wanting to have breakfast in the morning! When we arrived I made tea in our room (always the first thing to do after checking-in). Sadly the UHT jiggers had gone off and I called down to room service. Whilst we were out they came in and left about 12 new jiggers but left the two cups full of cold tea and curdled milk where they were - I emptied them into loo and washed in sink which didn't feel like a luxury hotel type moment and we were 2 down on the measly allowance of 4 proper tea bags per room - I don't count peppermint. The tea itself is not a brand I have come across before and isn't very good tea. Room was usual bland, modern, neutral style of all chain hotels

Great locationPosted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: The location
A modern hotel location in Olde London. It is next to Saint Paul's cathedral and a brief walk will take you to the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Staff is very helpful in making your London vacation wonderful!

Took over 30 minutes to check in as they had no record of Expedia booking. When we got to the room the cleaner was in there this is at 19.00. Went back to reception and it took another 20 minutes to sort another room. we could not reduce the temperature in the room despite following the instructions in the hotel guide it stayed at 27.5 which was unbearable. Pretty soulless hotel but cheap at a weekend for a five star, but not the start rating I would give.

Fint hotell for kjærestetur og buisness reiser.Posted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: rommene, sengene, fasilitetene, top utsikten.
Cons: frokost buffen
