Nice hotel close to the Gatwick Airport.

Pros: Proximity to the airport and tidiness.
Cons: Well. Improvement in life is continues.
Location: Some hotel staff should be down at the entrance to receive and assist customers with many and heavy luggage to the reception area.
In the morning I went to the restaurant to take my breakfast and I was denied that my booking of £86 was without breakfast. I was directed to the counter to meet someone but when I went the person was not there. I waited for about 10minutes and no body was available to attend to me. I left to the airport without taking my meal.

Great hotel with amazingly easy access and amenity

Hilton traditions in full operations. Easy access. Great entrance into the foye. Reservation staff efficient and friendly. Room was clean fresh and thoughourly inviting. Criticism. No tea making facilities and an empty fridge.

Nice hotel, very convenient to airport

After a very bad experience at a previous accommodation you have no idea how thrilled I was to be in such a clean and comfortable room. The bed was awesome and provided a much needed rest.

overnight before our flight. It seemed a lot farther than the bloc or Sofitel.

Great business hotel

We needed somewhere to get our heads down after a 2am flight arrival and found a great deal on Expedia which worked out to be around the same cost as a taxi home. From what I could tell at that time of the night, this is a great business traveller's hotel. Staff were helpful and provided me with cutlery without question; essentially everything that you'd expect from a Hilton attached the airport. Our room was in the new part of the hotel so it did seem like we walked down endless corridors, but the room itself was faultless and both weary traveller's slept very well.

Only stay if you have no other choice

No signs from North Terminal so had to hone reservations who didn't know route. Put on hold for about 5 minutes. No water in room. £5 charge on top of room service, so a small bottle of water costs over £8. Only 2 pillows supplied, had to request 2 more. Service at Amy's restaurant was slow. Food average and pricey.

Pros: Was close to Gatwick, but so are other hotels
Cons: Could make the stay easy rather than inconvenient.
Location: Catch airplanes within walking distance.
Traveling around the UK recently I stayed in 15 different hotels. ALL of them had tea-making facilities (tea, electric kettle, etc.) in the room EXCEPT the Hilton. ALL had free wifi EXCEPT the Hilton, which charged close to $20 for it. Penny-pinching and unwelcoming.

Nice hotel. Close to airport terminal.

Pros: The staff was very accommodating.
Cons: AS mentioned previously, the operation (flushing mechanism) of the toilet.
Location: We had wonderful access to the train station into London as well as the Gatwick airport terminal.
While we were very pleased with the overall experience of the hotel itself and the staff, the only problem we faced was with the operation of the toilet. We actually had to call the maintenance staff twice. And while they were prompt, they were unable to completely solve our situation.

good airport location Gatwick

Pros: location
Cons: The quality of bed, and cleanliness of room.
This Hotel is an excellent location if you are arriving or taking early flight from Gatwick Airport. Its really about the location. The staff for check in and Service area were very good. I called house keeping twice and they were at my room within 5 minutes with extra pillows and the next morning for a new hair dryer as the one in the room was broken. The cleanliness of the room was just ok, I was surprised that a used bar of soap was left in the shower/tub. also under the bed not clean. The bed was just a mattress on top of a wood frame from Ikea which is rather not up to a Hilton standard in my opinion. It is the helpfulness of the staff and the location that makes this hotel worth returning to.
