We had booked a family room. Upon our arrival, we noticed a strong sewer odour in the bathroom. The staff offered us two rooms instead. Our family room was a long and a double sofa bed. The rooms they provided us were two doubles. Had a terrible sleep! The staff was helpful in providing luggage storage for us, but I was disappointed that we weren’t provided better beds. I feel we were down graded.

We had a family room and it had no window. We were in the basement and a fake window was installed to make it look like we had one but it was stuffy and very weird not being able to see outside at all. We only stayed 2 nights. Had it been a longer stay I would have requested a new room.

The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The underground was a 3 second walk from the entrance of hotel which was great. Location was very quiet so was guaranteed a peaceful night, and opposite Hyde park. The hotel restaurant was lovely but menu very basic could do with more variety. Unfortunately the hotel bar was closed the evening we stayed so can’t say anything regarding that. The room we stayed in was very basic and very expensive for what it was. We didn’t attend breakfast in the restaurant but had breakfast in our room which was lovely but a little on the cold side. All in all the hotel location was perfect for what we needed, bed very uncomfortable. We unfortunately would not stay here again.

I loved returning to the Hilton Hyde Park and though my phone and debit card were stolen around the corner on my first full-day in London, the staff at the hotel were more helpful than they had any right to be. They were so generous with their time (and their personal phones!) and made a horrible situation bearable. I cannot wait to return.

The carpet was stained. The area under the bed had clearly not been vacuumed. We had two cockroaches in the toom. I told the front desk at checkout and messaged the hotel on the Expedia app but did not get any attempt at service recovery. Save your $450 and spend it elsewhere.

Noisy basement rooms, hardly any sleep
Had a family room for 4 which was located in the basement with a fake window. There are 4 family rooms served by a locked door and a hallway. The noise from all the doors was really bad. It shook our door and sounded like someone was trying to get into our room several times a night. Housekeeping also knocked on our door at 9am on our last day, then again at 11am even though checkout was not until 12. Felt like we were being harassed to leave. No dressing gowns as in the description. Cleanliness of the room was fine but the stairs leading down to the bssement rooms didn't look like they'd been vacuumed for a while. There was the end of a silicone nozzle on the stairs when we arrived on the Friday that was still there when we left on the Sunday! The bar is very limited, not the place to have a nightcap, no draught beers. Great location but avoid the basement family rooms if you want any sleep while you're there.

This is an older property with fewer amenities than the average Hilton. For me these inconveniences we mitigated by the friendly and accommodating staff. Over a good experience.

Good experience, the building and rooms are a bit dated, they could use a renovation for the price. No TV or entertainment system. But the Nespresso was quite cool and delightful. Good bathrooms with backlit mirrors and amazing products, the shower gel smells exquisite. Breakfast options are okay but unfortunately I found a white/gray hair on my scrambled eggs. Probably from an elderly guest who was scooping before me, I wouldn't think it was on purpose.The staff were very welcoming and hospitable including Mr. Zento Innami, who was especially nice and polite. The hotel is right infront of one of Hyde Park's main entrances, so its conveniant, just be careful of cyclists. Plenty of great cafes and restaurants nearby at Bayswater station. If you want a "classic" hotel experience, with a clean bed and quick access to the park this hotel is for you. Not too noisy at night but you can hear your neighbors conversations in the bathroom. Overall I'd give this hotel a 3.5/5. It's expensive for what you get, but you're not really paying for the room, you're paying for location and convenience.

Very conveniently located, one underground station is just next door, another is a few minutes walk away. Lots of dining options on Bayswater road. Had a family room which is pretty big and comfortable, the only thing is that such rooms are only available at basement level. Loved the shower as the pressure was excellent. We heard the breakfast was good hence tried it one morning… you’d be happier with Mac Donald’s which is a few minutes away. Overall we would still recommend this hotel.
