Nice family room. Breakfast needs work!

Posted Feb 20, 2017
Pros: Family room
Cons: Warm the breakfast up more!
Location: 2 min walk to Edgware road tube station. Plenty of restaurants within a 10 min walk. Although the hotel massive noise not an issue
Family room was plenty big in the west wing of the hotel. Room was very quiet and clean. Staff all friendly. Sports bar very good. Pre paid for breakfast which was self service hot cold buffet. The table we were put on was far to small and the food and tea coffee was on the cool side from the buffet.

Fair cost X benefit

Posted Feb 11, 2017
Room was quiete despite de large size oh hotel. More than 1,000 rooms. Front desk very efficient. Location rated 4-5. Cant walk during winter to attractions. Breakfast good. Gym and spa too small for the hotel's size. Worth' the money compared to other London alternatives.

Very close to tube station

Posted Jan 30, 2017
Location: Edgeware tube station across the road and lots of food places around.
Good hotel, rooms small but ok. Asked for two rooms close to each other and they weren't even on the same floor! Not all of the concierge staff liked their job but one to two were very helpful. View was very good. Clean, comfy beds. Food was good.

Shabby and mean behind the smart public areas

Posted Jan 30, 2017
Pros: The location is good
Pokey, cramped twin room - cold,, even with temp up full and on ''Boost;, still chilly. No spare bedding for warmth,,, no bottled water.. tired bathrooms, just one set of toiletries for 2 people. Receptionist saw i had been waiting longest to check in, but called forward a couple from a different queue first - little things like this really irritate. Get your act together Hilton Metropole...you might be in a favoured location and handy for the tube, but that doesn't cut overpriced shabby rooms and a feeling of neglect.

Immaculate, modern hotel

Posted Jan 30, 2017
Pros: Modern and cleanliness
Cons: Inter personal skills at check in and tour advice. staff are very pleasant but your just a number.
Location: Superb location near underground
Immaculate and modern contemporary hotel. Very close to underground, which was essential for our visit. Love the Hilton chain of hotels, always high spec and first class. Very busy upon arrival at the check in desk - large queues but did move quickly. Staff pleasant. However, no personal touch or advice on your stay about location as it was our fist visit to London and we could have done with a little tour advice. Would definitely recommend.
