Hotel in country setting in the middle of a town.Posted Nov 2, 2015
Pros: The people that work there, the food, the room, the layout and general comfort where ever you go, ample free parking space and good general security
Cons: Open the champagne bar. Light up the driveway into the estate.
Location: Very good access from western routes. Only went to the Rugby World Cup Final. Didn't go anywhere else.
My first comment has to be about the best sleep over the two nights that we stayed over that I have ever experienced in any hotel anywhere in the world. The silence (after 22.00.hrs) and comfort was amazing. We were made to feel very welcome and every request was dealt with flawless professionalism.

Nice hotel but dark decor in the rooms.Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Location and car parking facilities.
Cons: The Marco Pierre restaurant is undoubtedly very good but just too expensive and a cheaper dining option would have encouraged us to eat in the hotel.
Location: Kew Gardens and the National Archives within a short 10-min drive. There are a number of good restaurants located at Brentford Locks (a 10-15 walk).
The hotel is nice and we choose it for its location (close to Kew) and car parking. It is a clean modern hotel but we found the decor in the rooms to be quite dark (but I recognise this is possibly not to our taste). We baulked at paying £20 per person for breakfast and did not eat in the hotel as the Marco Pierre Retaurant was too pricey - we were offered a discount voucher to bring it down to £13 per person but still too much.

Very comfortable hotelPosted Aug 24, 2015
We had a very comfortable stay in this hotel (and were offered free upgrade when they realised we were on our honeymoon). The staff were very courteous and went out if their way to assist us.

Front Desk nightmarePosted Aug 24, 2015
Cons: staff and service
My husband and I were booked at this hotel on the saturday night. We were attending an event on the saturday, so had booked the room a few weeks in advance. On arrival we were advised this booking had been cancelled, the lady at reception was rude, abrupt and extreamely patronising. I cannot belive the Hilton would have someone with this level of customer service skills at reception representing them. She was admamant, we had cancelled the booking and that the hotel was fully booked and she did not have time to carry on talking about the issue. I was appalled, we had specially booked the room as we were attending the event, I tried talking to her, and attempted to calm her down saying it may be a system issue and that I was sure i had not cancelled. She was so rude and finally after time and time of me requesting sent her manager over. The manager was able to resolve the issue, and assured us it was a system issue and the hotels fault, still the lady did not apologise. The general standard of the hotel is not what it used to be the rooms smelt of damp, our room was still being cleaned at 5pm!!! and the hallways were constantly busy with housekeeping.

nice hotel but..........Posted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: location and its modern
Cons: attentiveness of the staff
Location: Syon House and grounds beautiful and quite easy to get to Kew Gardens.
Stayed for two nights and have mixed opinions. On the plus, its in a lovely location and the appearance inside and out is pleasing. Had dinner in the restaurant and the food was good but slightly over priced, having to pay £4 for tap water is totally unacceptable. Our room was very nice, clean and inviting, although the bathroom floor was badly tarnished, a letter of apology was left. We found the staff curtious but as frequent Hilton patrons, we felt they need more training to support the kind of service expected in a Hilton hotel. Breakfast and checkout are examples were more staff were needed. Small point on wifi, not always free, not very fast and not easy to sign in, plus you have to sign in again every two hours. Personally I would let the business traveller use this hotel and if for a weekend away, chose somewhere else.

Nice hotel on edge of Syon Park. Quiet & peaceful.Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pleasant stay. Loved the spa facilities. Nice room & lovely bathroom. The only downside was the dress code in the bar & restaurant in the evenings! Couldnt believe all the men in jeans. Not good enough for a Hilton hotel.
