Amazing staff+ fabulous breakfast, ExecutiveL

Posted Jan 21, 2017
Pros: Executive/Business lounge, buffet breakfast, location, staff
Cons: Larger rooms and the concierge told me to go a long way to an O2 shop for a SIM card rather than explaining the gift shop sold SIM cards!
Location: Super close to the Metro as well, good supermarkets, pubs and shops nearby including ARGOS.
This was one of our favourite hotel stays, highly recommend it for anyone out and about in London. Buffet breakfast was fabulous, hotel has small gym with running machines and some free weights and weight machines which is pretty great for any hotel.I thought there was a pool but we didn't see one or any signs to one??? Rooms and bathrooms were lovely but quiet small-included an iron and ironing board!.MAKE SURE to book an executive room-while the rooms were average size allowed access to the Business Lounge with free flowing snacks, drinks, cappuccino all day and wine/beer from 6-8pm every night with hot treats-a life saver for us! Can't wait to come back again-super helpful staff-you can buy a UK SIM card at the hotel shop for 5 pounds!

Pros: convenient location
Cons: seems to be getting a little frayed at the edges. Could use some fixing up
Location: close to museums and a tube stop
Holiday Inn Kensington Forum is conveniently located near the Gloucester Road tube stop. It's a big business hotel that gets many groups and airline crews, and also works for individuals. Rooms are a good size by London standards and the staff is friendly. There's a local, and friendly, pub right off the hotel lobby. A good option for anyone wanting to be in the South Kensington area. It's close to major museums -- the Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert.

Additional charges for everything

Posted Dec 30, 2016
For $224 a night, I expected some amenities included; but, wrong. I had over £100 in extra charges for breakfast and local phone calls. I was injured by a vehicle, and had to make calls to the local hospital and the company responsible for the accident, and I was charged for all of this. Quite unexpected to be presented this bill as I left. I also had to call several times a day to get a working Wi-Fi username and password, and was treated very rudely by the front desk staff each time I called. It wasn't my fault their system is flawed.

Good hotel

Posted Dec 28, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleaning staff should respect the Do Not Disturb sign on the doors, somewhat annoying having some know on your door at 9am for room service.
Location: Restaurants and metro a block away. 15-20 minute walk to shopping stores, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and Palace.
Hotel is good, though rooms somewhat outdate. It is in a great location, close to metro, restaurants, shopping and some sites to visit, like Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, among others. Check in and check out process was fast and smooth. Staff very helpful. The only issue was the cleaning lady on our floor, she always kept asking me what time I was stepping out of the room so she could clean it, and this was at 8 am.

Comfortable and quiet

Peter the consierge was very helpful. Hotel was pretty quiet despite its large size. Never any change to breakfast menu so a little boring by the 7th day.

Great cost/value hotel at great location!

Posted Dec 15, 2016
Pros: Room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was great. Staff was kind. Location is wonderful.
Cons: More vegetables on breakfast.
Location: 2 mins walk from Gloucester Road tube station. Nearby Waitrose shopping center. Boots branch within. Garfunkel is a good restaurant. Tesco nearby.
Had a room on the 4th floor. It was clean and tidy. Inside the room there are an electric kettle with coffee/tea instruments, and a minibar which wasn't properly working. After asking for fixing the problem, they rapidly replaced the minibar. The room itself was very comforting and we had a fair view to the street. We haven't use the air conditioner at all, because nights' temperatures were cool enough and the blankets were very warm and cozy. we had two single beds. everything was at a proper size and there was plenty of space to all of our stuff. Lobby is very nice and welcoming, so are the front man at the reception and in the luggage room. The breakfast was surprisingly good and we really enjoyed it. Food variety and quality were above my expectations. Everything, but the fruits and vegetables, was great. Fruits and vegetables were a bit tasteless. The hotel resides within a quite neighborhood and its location was an asset. It is just around the corner of the Gloucester Road tube station, 2 mins walk. this is a great location. takes about 10-15 mins to get to the center. I noticed that most of the hotel visitors were business men and I think its add more value to the hotel reputation. BOTTOM LINE: Would highly recommend and will definitely return!

Excellent Location

Posted Dec 7, 2016
Hotel is easily accessible from Heathrow via Underground. Excellent shops and restaurants nearby. Close to the museum's. Nearby buses go to Oxford Street for shopping or Kensington. I stay at this hotel at least once a year and have never been disappointed. Helpful concierge. Convenient to have a pub in the hotel - food is served late. Excellent stay.
