Close to Paddington but disappointing

Posted May 30, 2017
Pros: They had teapot, tea, biscuits and real milk in the room - as well as a nespresso coffee maker, and free water in the minibar. Good breakfast
Cons: Basement rooms should be scrapped. Front desk should have some basic info.
Location: We arrived at Paddington and walked 3 minutes to the hotel, which was great. But didn't get to see the area at all. Heathrow Express straight back
We were put down into a basement room near the boiler room. Smelly and noisy. Shower drain blocked up. Instead of a window, a frosted glass door staring into another room. We arrived late, and with only one night in London, asked the front desk to direct us to a nearby pub in time for last call. That was a dismal failure. They sent us the wrong way when 2 doors down in the other direction we would have just made it. So no British pub experience for us. We went to bed and to the airport the next morning. should have just stayed at the airport hotel!

Great location!

This is a great hotel if you need to be close to Paddington Train Station. Just a few minutes walk. Good neighborhood with nice pubs and other options. Very close to the canals if you are interested in them. The hotel itself is very nice. It worked out fine for a two night stay, but due to our room's miniature size, it might be hard to stay much longer than that. The amenities were great and the bed and linens are very nice. Even though the room was tiny, the bathroom was a decent size.

Dreadful

Posted May 18, 2017
Web site photos are misleading at best. Rooms are small and gaudy. The entrance is uninviting and garish to behold. The shower doors were off their railings and trapped us. Never again.

Hotel Indigo Paddington Station

Posted May 4, 2017
Pros: Clean. Appropriate sized amenities. Helpful staff.
Cons: Breakfast.
Location: Sherlock Holmes museum, Regent Part,
Nice, clean, close to Paddington Station and a number of must see sites in London. Sherlock Holmes museum was within walking distance. Breakfast could use a little help, in the egg and potato areas, but the fruit and tea selection was very good as was the variety of pastries and breads. Bedroom clean, tidy and although small, everything was appropriately sized to room and all necessities were available., iron, ironing board, fridge, even a portable phone to use when out and about for phone calls at no cost to guest.

Pros: Staff. Breakfast.
Location: Paddington canals in one direction, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens in the other.
This boutique hotel is perfect for business travelers as well as tourists. The staff is amazing and welcoming. The location is perfect, especially for those who are coming in on the Heathrow Express and then want to head further into central London. Definitely get the breakfast as well.

I expected similar standard when I was stayed in Kengsington, Earl's Court, modern, clean, awesome breakfast but this one looks old, room is dull, bedding is getting too soft, and the breakfast is awful, I will not stay again. The only good is quick check in, maybe we pre-paid already so we don't need to fill in all information.
