Excellent 5 star service: loved this hotel

This hotel was recommended by Disney Cruise for our pre-cruise stay in London, but we ended up booking through Expedia. The service from check in through check out was excellent!
All of the front desk staff were very pleasant and accommodating (I expected them to be a bit snooty since this was a 5 star hotel and my son and I were thoroughly dressed down in vacation attire). They allowed us to use our room at 9am (instead of the 2 pm check in time), which was a big help after a 24 hour flight from Asia. As this was my first trip back to London in 21 years, the concierge assisted with all my day tour bookings and even lent me an umbrella. The doormen, the servers at breakfast, room service staff, and room attendants were consistently pleasing and attentive.
A bonus to my stay was the fact that our room was just renovated. Rooms are clean and well lit. I really enjoyed using the citrus scented bath amenities.
Location is excellent, a few minutes walk from Selfridges and Marble arch.
