Avoid at all costs.
Four bed dorm, two nights, and never again: two foot square shower in the room with absolutely no privacy; lift does not work, and the list could go on.

Kensal Green Backpackers
The room was stuffy when the windows were kept closed. I became ill and had to wear a mask because the room became so crowded. There were six of us in a four person room. There was only one usable kitchen and the refrigerator was kept downstairs.

Excellent stay! Staff was amenable to needs of guests. Everyone worked together to provide best for guests. From the lovely young people in registration to those working the breakfast/snacks, to maintenance & cleaning staff; all were amazing and worked very hard. It would do well to remember this is a hostel and NOT a hotel. If you are not clear on what to expect at a hostel, you may have difficulties as some expressed in other reviews. I look forward to my next visit as its directly across from a train and a bus station. Great location!

I booked a room via Expedia.com prior to my flight the next day but when I received my confirmation email it said I was in an 8 bed female only dorm. I'm a 65 year man so I can only imagine what sort of reception I would have received if I had turned up for the booking. Expedia needs to sharpen up its pencil!

Nice place to stay for the money
If you’re looking for a place to rest your head at night, then this place is perfect. There’s no thrills or frills but for the price it’s great.

Just cross the road from underground metro station. very convienient. staff are nice and helpful. Room is old and furnatuires are old. room too crawded.
